To participate in Adventure Riding Upper Mustang, a specific authorization is required. With approval and a permit, you can explore Mustang all the way to the Tibetan border in China. DAY 1

Arrive in Kathmandu

Welcome, then make your way to the hotel. Later, a quick ride around the hotel grounds to inspect the bikes' condition. In the evening, a briefing on adventure riding upper mustangs with the staff.

DAY 2

Kathmandu to Pokhara. 200km

We begin our ride early in the morning, encountering heavy traffic for the first 25 kilometres. Later, we will have a scenic ride along the river's edge to our lunch location. On the route, we will see Nepal's first cable car service climb a hill. Before we reach Pokhara, we will have a spectacular glimpse of Machhapuchre. Arrive at Pokhara about mid afternoon. Check into a hotel in Pokhara. Enjoy a cold beer beside the lake. Dinner at one of the best restaurants on the lakefront.

DAY 3

Kalopani to Pokhara. 150 miles.

After breakfast, depart Pokhara and take a journey to Kalopani. However, be cautious of the potholes. There is dust and off-road riding on this portion of the road, which is being widened to four lanes. On a clear day, Fishtail Mountain is spectacularly visible from Naudanda. Refueling at Beni. On a clear day, stop for lunch at Tatopani, Annapurna Hotel and take in the views of the Nilgiri mountains. DAY 4

Kalopani to Kagbeni. 40km. A brief trip to and from Muktinath.

Approximately nine in the morning, after breakfast, we ride to Kagbeni, the Upper Mustang entry point, where we spend the night. Although it's a small trip, some acclimatization is required. We pass via the beautiful Marpha village in route. It is Mustang's apple capital, and we should proceed to Jomsom to register our permit there. Savor coffee while admiring Mt. Nilgiri's view at OM's HOME. We will check into a hotel at Kagbeni, which is 12 kilometers away from Jomsom. Savor your lunch.

Take a short ride (12 km all blacktopped) to Muktinath (3800m). Experience the panoramic views of the Himalayas, which feature Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri. Other peaks from Ranipauwa are Tukche and Muktinath Peaks. After returning to Kagbeni, rest. You can choose your lunch, dinner, and breakfast from the hotel's menu. There is food accessible from Tibet, Nepal, Mexico, and Europe.

DAY 5

Charang Village to Kagbeni. 65k

Around eight in the morning, after breakfast, we set off on our ride to the stunning Charang Village. Conditions for off-road riding that include some bulldust. The river beds of the Kali Gandaki provide wonderful landscape. Chele's red granite tunnels and small caves tucked away up on the mountainside. The Tangbe yak herders' settlements are breathtaking and well worth a visit. The road begins to climb till it reaches Sangboche and Ghami. 

Stop for simple meals at Syangboche for lunch. The greatest options are rice and lentils with buff curry, and chicken noodle soup. There will also be Tibetan omelets and buns available. Ride on to Charang Village and make your hotel reservation at Maya's Inn. A simple hotel that is well-liked by travellers and trekkers. A walk around Charang village is certainly worth your time. Visit the Charang Fort and Nunnery, or take in the mountain landscapes from the Fort's edge. Dinner and breakfast of your choosing.

DAY 6

Charang-Lo Manthang. 18km. Completely dirt road.

We begin the ride to Lo Manthang shortly after breakfast, at 8:30 a.m. In terms of distance, this is the shortest riding day. However, beginning early from Charang will provide an opportunity to appreciate the spectacular scenery. Lo Manthang is a walled city with a high pass located a few kilometers before arrival. This high pass is the primary view point for many internationally recognized photographers. They obtained incredible images of the city with a moon-like landscape. A nice location for group photos. 

We cycle downhill and arrive in Lo Manthang. Check into Pema's Lotus Inn. A small tidy guest house with wonderful food and a welcoming atmosphere. We have all afternoon to tour the Walled City. Some sites include two old monasteries, a photo gallery, and Tibetan medicine.

DAY 7

Korola Pass to Lo Manthang. 4650 meters.

Ride to Korola Pass after departing Lo Manthang at around 9:00 a.m. It's almost twenty thousand miles one way. The recently widened Lo Manthang to Korola road provides easy riding bikes. Still, you'll notice the increase in altitude. On the Tibetan plateau is the border pillar. We will stop at Choser Cave, also referred to as the Sky Caves of Mustang, on the way back. The final cave you reach on your ascent is as tall as a ten-story structure. Unbelievable views of the surrounding countryside are available through the round ports. Return by bike to Lo Manthang, then relax. You can choose your breakfast and dinner.

DAY 8

Marpha to Lo Manthang. About 110 kilometers.

We will travel the same route back, covering the two days' worth of travel in a single day. Visit Sangboche for tea. Stop for lunch at Lo Ghami. Check into the Apple Orchid Hotel in Marpha. You can choose your breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

DAY 9

Tatopani to Marpha. approximately 40k

Around 9:00 am, we begin the return ride after breakfast. Remain on the road until you reach Kalopani Guest House. Savor the lunch of your choosing.
Ride another 20 km after lunch and stay at Tatopani. Enter a basic guest house. Take a short stroll from the hotel to the hotspring and relax your aching muscles.
The natural hotspring next to the rushing Kali Gandaki river provides the hot water. Every morning they clean it and fill it in before the sun sets. By the pool, there's chilled beer and some locally-sourced treats like dried yak meat. You can choose your breakfast and dinner. Two pools are present. One can accommodate up to twenty people. The second one can accommodate ten to fifteen people.

DAY 10

Tatopani to Pokhara. 115km. A quick journey to Kusma's Hanging Bridge.

We head to Pokhara at 8:30 a.m. after breakfast, along the same route we took the day before. We will see Nepal's three longest and deepest suspension bridges at Kusma, which is approximately 45 kilometers. Bikers can take a risk and ride across one of the bridges for an incredible video or photo opportunity. Enjoy lunch before continuing the final step to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara and settle into the Pokhara Hotel.

DAY 11

Pokhara to Kathmandu. 200km.

After breakfast, we depart for Kathmandu at 9:00 a.m. Coffee stop at Gunadi Highway Restaurant. Lunch at Riverside Spring Resort. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into our hotel. Attend a celebratory meal in the evening.

DAY 12

Final Departure.

Riding upper Mustang marks the end of the adventure. Check out. 12 PM
