The fractured horn was revered as a Sivalinga but was buried and destroyed over time.&nbsp;Centuries later, shocked herdsmen found one of his cows showering milk on land.&nbsp;Digging deep down at the location,&nbsp;he found Pashupatinath's sacred linga.<h3>The Devalaya version</h3>The chronicle notes that Pashupatinath Temple was in the form of Linga&nbsp;shaped&nbsp;Devalaya&nbsp;until&nbsp;Supuspa Deva&nbsp;constructed a Pashupatinath five-storey temple in this location.&nbsp;When time progressed, the need emerged for&nbsp;this temple to be restored and renovated.It is learned that a medieval king&nbsp;called&nbsp;Shivadeva&nbsp;(1099-1126 AD) restored this temple.&nbsp;Ananta Malla&nbsp;later refurbished it,&nbsp;adding a roof to it.&nbsp;This shrine, also known as 'The Temple of Living Beings,'&nbsp;is a host to thousands of visitors from all around the globe.<h3>Other widespread beliefs</h3>Many complicated tales include Pashupatinath's roots.&nbsp;In short, one myth goes that Shiva and Parvati came to&nbsp;the <a href="https://www.hopnepal.com/blog/introduction-to-kathmandu" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kathmandu Valley</a> and slept while on a trip to the Bagmati.Shiva became so fascinated by nature and the nearby trees&nbsp;that he and Parvati became deers and moved through the wood.&nbsp;Several spots in the Valley of Kathmandu have been known&nbsp;as places where Shiva went as a deer during his time.&nbsp;The citizens and gods started looking for Shiva after some time. This day marks your final day in the land of the Himalayas. &nbsp;You will be transferred to the international airport in Kathmandu based on the time of your flight by our representative from Sherpa Expedition and trekking. &nbsp;You will then return to your native country or your next travel destination.

Farewell to Nepal

We head back to Kathmandu by tourist bus or private vehicle based on the size of our group. You will be transferred to the hotel of your stay once you reach Kathmandu. Not that you have the option to fly to Kathmandu in a thirty minutes’ scenic flight.

Pokhara to Kathmandu via flight or drive

This is the final day of our trekking journey because we head back to Pokhara on this day. We move up following the teahouses in Ghandruk village and then move along terrace fields. We follow the Modi river and then reach Birethandi in some hours. We drive from Birethandi to Pokhara.

Ghandruk-Pokhara

We have a gradual walk along the rhododendron and oak forest for three hours on this day to reach Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village where we can savor the view of the Hiunchuli, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, and other peaks. &nbsp;This village has a cultural museum, Buddhist monastery and has cultural dance shows. Overnight stay at a teahouse in Ghandruk.

Walk Tadapani-Ghandruk

On this day, we make our way to the viewpoint of Poonhill so we start early. Our morning hike takes us to Poonhill viewpoint from where we witness the beautiful sunrise and the sun rays falling on the towering peaks like Annapurna I, III, IV and South, Nilgiri (6940 meters), Varaha Shikhar (7847 meters), Tukuche (6920 meters), Lamjung Himal (6931 meters), Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), and so on. We return to the Ghorepani hotel to grab breakfast and then head to Tadapani along the Deurali ridge. We finally reach Tadapani village and stay here overnight.

Ghorepani-Poonhill (3210 meters) and head to Tadapani (2710 meters); five to six hours

We move up a steep path for two hours to get to Ulleri (2070 meters). We walk past Banthanti, a Magar village where we can savor the amazing views of the Hiunchuli (6441 meters), Machhapuchhre (6997 meters), along with the Annapurna south (7219 meters). We walk across the beautiful forest of rhododendron and then pass the bridge above a stream to reach Ghorepani village. We can enjoy the sight of the Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, and Annapurna I along with other peaks from here.Overnight stay in a teahouse.

Tikhedhunga-Ghorepani (2750 meters); four to six hours

We head to Tikhedhunga via a drive from Pokhara. We move across the beautiful village of Lumle and get to Nayapul (1050 meters). We start our trek to Poonhill from Nayapul and we get to Birethandi within half an hour. We get our permits checked at the check post here. We walk along the Modi Khola and finally reach Tikhedhunga in three or four hours.&amp;Overnight stay at Tikhedhunga in a teahouse.

Pokhara-Tikhedhunga (1480 meters); around one and half hour drive or four hours walk

On this day, we head to Pokhara from Kathmandu via private vehicle or tourist coach based on the group size. Note that you also have the choice to fly to Pokhara which will take just thirty minutes. You will be escorted to the hotel when you reach Pokhara. In the free time during the afternoon you can go stroll around the lakeside.

Kathmandu-Pokhara via flight/bus; six to seven hours

Upon your arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative from Sherpa Expedition and trekking and you will be transferred to your hotel. You will be given the briefing on the trekking journey including the information on the food, lodging, dos and don’ts of the trek. &nbsp;Later in the evening, you will have dinner with the group.

Reach Kathmandu (1350 meters)

We leave from Kathmandu to Charaudi at 7 am in the morning which will be a three hours drive. Upon arrival, we will be briefed about the details on rafting along with apt instructions by the rafting guide while the rafting crew prepares the important gears. We will raft for two hours after which we get lunch at the riverside. We will then enjoy the final rapids to reach Kurintar where we will stay overnight in tents. We will relish the delicious campsite dinner.

Kathmandu- Charaudi (via drive)

On the second day, we will head for the water adventure after having a hearty breakfast. We will have a thrilling journey as we raft at the confluence of the rivers, Marshyangdi, and Trishuli making the current exhilarating. The rafting is completed at Teapot and you will be provided with the option to go to anyone three places among Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Pokhara.

Final water adventure

Day 1 : Reach Kathmandu

You will be taken to the important cultural sites of Kathmandu after a hearty breakfast. The sites include the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, and Bouddhanath. You will be accompanied by a tour guide to all these places. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu

After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport from where we fly to the place named Lukla from where our trekking journey starts. We can relish the panoramic views of amazing places. The trek moves along the Dudh Koshi river and then we head to Phakding. We walk till Phakding and stay there overnight.

Day 3 : Head to Lukla and then move to Phakding (2652 meters)

After eating breakfast, we start our trekking journey as we walk uphill after checking into the counter of Sagarmatha National park. We will witness the majestic views of the beautiful Himalayas from Namche and all along the way to Namche. Namche Bazaar is popular as the capital of Sherpa and is famous for its buzzing market. Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche.

Day 4 : Move to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters)

Before we scale higher altitude, we do short hikes around Namche to acclimatize. We explore the nearby surroundings; we walk to the villages namely Khumjung, Khunde and others and visit the spectacular monasteries and beautiful Chortens. We will get to witness the amazing Himalayan vistas here. Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5 : Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

After a tasty breakfast in Namche Bazaar, we head to Tengboche as we move across various cultural spots and enjoy the views of the Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse and the tall Mount Everest. We take rest in Tengboche. &nbsp; Overnight stay at a lodge in Tengboche

Day 6 : Namche Bazaar-Tengboche (3860 meters)

We commence our journey for the day as we head to DIbgboche from Tengboche. We walk past the river named Imja which is below the Ama Dablam peak. The amazing alpine landscape is alluring and the walk gets tougher now. We will see amazing monasteries and beautiful settlements of the Sherpa folks. We reach Dingboche which is our overnight stop.

Day 7 : Tengboche-Dingboche (4410 meters)

To better adjust in the higher altitude, we rest at Dingboche. We will explore the natural surrounding of Dingboche on this day. We can taste the delicious food available here and have a short hike and relish the panorama of mountains. We get back to Dingboche and then stay here overnight.

Day 8 : Acclimatization or rest day

We resume our trekking journey. We walk past the memorials of the trekkers or mountaineers who lost their lives while scaling the summits of Mount Everest here. We walk gradually to reach Lobuche where we stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 9 : Dingboche-Lobuche (4910 meters)

This is the day we walk to the main highlight of our trip. We start our journey from Lobuche and then reach Gorakshep where we stop for lunch. We walk to Everest Base Camp and enjoy every bit of the trip. We will see fellow travelers on our way and have an enjoyable stay and good time scaling higher elevation. &nbsp;After descending for some time we again reach Gorakshep which is our overnight stop.

Day 10 : Head to Everest Base Camp (5364 meters) en route Gorakshep (5181 meters)

Early in the morning, we ascend to the viewpoint of Kalapatthar, witness the amazing sunrise view at the top of the might Everest alongside the majestic Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam and several other named and unnamed peaks. W head down Pheriche and eat lunch. We stay overnight at a lodge.

Day 11 : Move to Kalapatthar (5545 meters) and Gorakshep to Pheriche (4210 meters)

We walk the popular cultural spots like the Tengboche and Pangboche from where we move to Namche Bazaar slowly. We walk up to Monjo from where we cross the lush green forests of rhododendron and reach the spot where we stop overnight, Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Day 12 : Pheriche-Namche Bazaar

This is the last day of our amazing trekking journey. We retrace our steps back to Lukla where we first started. This marks the last day of our trip and our stay with the cheerful porters and trekking guide. We celebrate marking the end of this splendid journey. Overnight stay at a lodge.&nbsp;

Day 13 : Namche Bazaar-Lukla

Early in the morning, we head to the airport and board a plane to Kathmandu. This is going to be a scenic flight journey. We transfer you to the hotel of your stay here. You can involve in individual activities on this day. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 14 : Fly to Kathmandu

We will have a celebration with a delicious farewell dinner on this day. You will have enough time for individual activities like shopping as well as an evening to celebrate the accomplishment. Overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 15 : Day for individual activities in Kathmandu

Then, w set out for Tikhedhunga as we enjoy the picturesque scenario of the beautiful village following Modi Khola. We reach Sudami and climb up to reach Hile and then finally reach Tikhedhunga. Move to Ghorepani (3194 meters)

We have a short trek where we will see the beautiful sunrise in Poon hill alongside the shimmery mountain. After savoring this view, we head back to Ghorepani and eat breakfast to continue our trek to Tadapani. We move along the lush green forest. Early morning hike to Poon Hill viewpoint and then trek down to Ghorepani (one hour); again trek to Tadapani (six hours)

On this day, we head to Chhomrong as w walk through lush green jungles following pristine river after breakfast. We descend to the beautiful village situated in the lap of gigantic Annapurna, namely, Chhomrong. We pass through Modi Khola as we descend and ascend our way to Chhomrong below the Machhapuchre and Annapurna south. Overnight stay at Chhomrong.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Move to Chhomrong (1900 meters, around seven hours)

After having breakfast, we start our trek moving through the jungle. We will reach Dovan en route Sinuwa and Bamboo. The trail is steep till Sinuwa. After crossing the jungle, we reach Deurali. Overnight stay at Deurali.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Head to Deurali (3230 meters, around six hours)

Right after breakfast, we walk straight up to reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). We move to the trail which leads to ABC and watches beautiful mountains as we keep on walking upwards.&nbsp;We will see Annapurna I, 12 peaks, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Singuchuli, Gandarvachuli, Tent Peak and others. We will get to see Glacier near ABC. Overnight stay at ABC.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters, five hours)

On this day, we get up early with the sight of sunrise over the Mt. Annapurna I. After taking breakfast, we go back to Deurali and descend through the jungle. Overnight stay in Bamboo.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Head to Bamboo (2340 meters, six hours)

Move to Jhinu (1780 meters, five hours)

You can also take a great break, get refreshed, and relax. In the evening, you can move and see sights and sounds around Thamel. Sudarshan agreed with the Gwala, after witnessing this through his own feet.&nbsp;The next day, when she was weeding in the trees, they noticed the cow's daytime behaviour. Both Brahmin and Gwala concealed themselves behind the trunk.To their delight, a little black boy fell out of the tree and started to drink the cow's milk. The two people had been angry as they assumed the child had to be the devil and the tree had to be his house.So the brahmin chopped the champak tree down. New human blood poured out of the tree when he was chopping it down. Brahmin and Gwala both were nervous, thinking they had committed a big crime and started to weep.&nbsp;Lord Vishnu appeared from the tree and told the brahmin and cowherd that they were not to blame for this. The hen landed at the&nbsp;spot where the Chaitya currently sits.&nbsp;Before the building of the Chaitya began, an&nbsp;Ajimaa&nbsp;was already established at that location. Historians believe that the conventional awareness of collecting&nbsp;droplets from dew has been lost over time.&nbsp;The locations that end with 'Ti'(maybe)&nbsp;have a similar past, like&nbsp;Chalati(maybe),&nbsp;Kusunti(maybe), etc.&nbsp;Khaasti Ajimaa(almost) is one&nbsp;of Kathmandu's most significant Ajima.&nbsp;Ajima is regarded by the Newa culture to be super strength. She is notable as only traders and particularly men travelled back and forth in Nepal-Tibet during those days.&nbsp;As she learned tales of Bhrikuti spreading in Lhasa, she became intrigued by Khaasti. Being a widow, she will seek the King's permission to visit Khaasti.The local Newars of those days remember Jyajhima, a hen rearer woman because of her appeal to the pilgrimage. It is claimed that she spends several days in Khaasti's premises with her four daughters, before moving to Lhasa.<h2>Myth Behind Boudhanath Stupa</h2><h2><img src="https://booking-manager-api-hop-nepal.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/file-manager/page/ezgif.com-gif-maker%20-%202023-08-16T133008.759.webp"></h2> Stupa at Namche Bazar Tibetan merchants have been around Boudanath stupa for&nbsp;several years, residing and offering services.&nbsp;When the 1950s saw refugees joining Nepal&nbsp;from Tibet, many chose to stay around Boudhanath.&nbsp;It is claimed that the&nbsp;Stupa entombed Kassapa Buddha's ashes. After the death of Kāśyapa Buddha, a certain old lady-Ma-jha-zi-ma who owned hens farm and her four sons interred the remains&nbsp;of this great sage at the place where the grand mound now stands, the latter being constructed by the lady herself.Until beginning construction work, she petitioned the King of the period to grand&nbsp;a slice of skin land size and gained approval to "start" constructing a house.&nbsp;The King was shocked by how she was going to create it on&nbsp;such a tiny land scale and gave her property as well as permission.She then cut the skin carefully, and created a skin-rope (lung) and circulated the region, which is the size&nbsp;of Bouddhanath present town.By the time the foundation of the system had been accomplished as a consequence of immense efforts on the part of the&nbsp;woman and her four daughters, those who saw it were amazed at the extent of the scale on which it was performed.Notably, this was the case with the country's high officials, all of whom claimed that if such a poor old lady were able to complete the construction of such&nbsp;a breathtaking structure, they would have to build a temple as big as a mountain themselves.
