Nepal's Secret Wonders: Hidden National Parks' Biodiversity

We leave from Kathmandu to Charaudi at 7 am in the morning which will be a three hours drive. Upon arrival, we will be briefed about the details on rafting along with apt instructions by the rafting guide while the rafting crew prepares the important gears. We will raft for two hours after which we get lunch at the riverside. We will then enjoy the final rapids to reach Kurintar where we will stay overnight in tents. We will relish the delicious campsite dinner.

Kathmandu- Charaudi (via drive)

On the second day, we will head for the water adventure after having a hearty breakfast. We will have a thrilling journey as we raft at the confluence of the rivers, Marshyangdi, and Trishuli making the current exhilarating. The rafting is completed at Teapot and you will be provided with the option to go to anyone three places among Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Pokhara.

Upon your arrival, you will be received by one of our representatives and will be transferred to the hotel of your stay. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kathmandu.

Reach Kathmandu

After a hearty breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport from where we fly to the place named Lukla from where our trekking journey starts. We can relish the panoramic views of amazing places. The trek moves along the Dudh Koshi river and then we head to Phakding. We walk till Phakding and stay there overnight.

Head to Lukla and then move to Phakding (2652 meters)

After having a decent breakfast, we begin our trek and move to the great Sagarmatha National Park point. Along the way, we will enjoy stunning views of the tremendous majestic Himalayas, which grow even more breathtaking as we go to the incomparable Namche Bazaar. Known as the Sherpa principal capital, Namche is famous for its vibrant market. We end the day with an overnight stay at a comfortable lodge in Namche.

Move to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters)

Before we scale higher altitude, we do short hikes around Namche to acclimatize. We explore the nearby surroundings; we walk to the villages namely Khumjung, Khunde and others and visit the spectacular monasteries and beautiful Chortens. We will get to witness the amazing Himalayan vistas here. Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar

After a tasty breakfast in Namche Bazaar, we head to Tengboche as we move across various cultural spots and enjoy the views of the Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Lhotse and the tall Mount Everest. We take rest in Tengboche. &nbsp; Overnight stay at a lodge in Tengboche

Namche Bazaar-Tengboche (3860 meters)

We commence our journey for the day as we head to DIbgboche from Tengboche. We walk past the river named Imja which is below the Ama Dablam peak. The amazing alpine landscape is alluring and the walk gets tougher now. We will see amazing monasteries and beautiful settlements of the Sherpa folks. We reach Dingboche which is our overnight stop.

Tengboche-Dingboche (4410 meters)

To better adjust in the higher altitude, we rest at Dingboche. We will explore the natural surrounding of Dingboche on this day. We can taste the delicious food available here and have a short hike and relish the panorama of mountains. We get back to Dingboche and then stay here overnight.

Acclimatization or rest day

We resume our trekking journey. We walk past the memorials of the trekkers or mountaineers who lost their lives while scaling the summits of Mount Everest here. We walk gradually to reach Lobuche where we stay overnight at a lodge.

Dingboche-Lobuche (4910 meters)

This is the day we walk to the main highlight of our trip. We start our journey from Lobuche and then reach Gorakshep where we stop for lunch. We walk to Everest Base Camp and enjoy every bit of the trip. We will see fellow travelers on our way and have an enjoyable stay and good time scaling higher elevation. &nbsp;After descending for some time we again reach Gorakshep which is our overnight stop.

Head to Everest Base Camp (5364 meters) en route Gorakshep (5181 meters)

Early in the morning, we ascend to the viewpoint of Kalapatthar, witness the amazing sunrise view at the top of the might Everest alongside the majestic Nuptse, Lhotse and Ama Dablam and several other named and unnamed peaks. W head down Pheriche and eat lunch. We stay overnight at a lodge.

Move to Kalapatthar (5545 meters) and Gorakshep to Pheriche (4210 meters)

We walk the popular cultural spots like the Tengboche and Pangboche from where we move to Namche Bazaar slowly. We walk up to Monjo from where we cross the lush green forests of rhododendron and reach the spot where we stop overnight, Overnight stay at a lodge in Namche Bazaar.

Pheriche-Namche Bazaar

This is the last day of our amazing trekking journey. We retrace our steps back to Lukla where we first started. This marks the last day of our trip and our stay with the cheerful porters and trekking guide. We celebrate marking the end of this splendid journey. Overnight stay at a lodge.&nbsp;

Namche Bazaar-Lukla

We will have a celebration with a delicious farewell dinner on this day. You will have enough time for individual activities like shopping as well as an evening to celebrate the accomplishment. Overnight stay in a hotel.

After a hearty breakfast, we go to Nayapul via the drive and commence our trek. We follow old villages, lush green hills and paddy fields as we head to Nayapul. Then, w set out for Tikhedhunga as we enjoy the picturesque scenario of the beautiful village following Modi Khola. We reach Sudami and climb up to reach Hile and then finally reach Tikhedhunga. Move to Ghorepani (3194 meters)

We have a short trek where we will see the beautiful sunrise in Poon hill alongside the shimmery mountain. After savoring this view, we head back to Ghorepani and eat breakfast to continue our trek to Tadapani. We move along the lush green forest. Early morning hike to Poon Hill viewpoint and then trek down to Ghorepani (one hour); again trek to Tadapani (six hours)

On this day, we head to Chhomrong as w walk through lush green jungles following pristine river after breakfast. We descend to the beautiful village situated in the lap of gigantic Annapurna, namely, Chhomrong. We pass through Modi Khola as we descend and ascend our way to Chhomrong below the Machhapuchre and Annapurna south. Overnight stay at Chhomrong.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Move to Chhomrong (1900 meters, around seven hours)

After having breakfast, we start our trek moving through the jungle. We will reach Dovan en route Sinuwa and Bamboo. The trail is steep till Sinuwa. After crossing the jungle, we reach Deurali. Overnight stay at Deurali.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Head to Deurali (3230 meters, around six hours)

Right after breakfast, we walk straight up to reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). We move to the trail which leads to ABC and watches beautiful mountains as we keep on walking upwards.&nbsp;We will see Annapurna I, 12 peaks, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Singuchuli, Gandarvachuli, Tent Peak and others. We will get to see Glacier near ABC. Overnight stay at ABC.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 meters, five hours)

On this day, we get up early with the sight of sunrise over the Mt. Annapurna I. After taking breakfast, we go back to Deurali and descend through the jungle. Overnight stay in Bamboo.&nbsp;Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Head to Bamboo (2340 meters, six hours)

Pokhara to Kathmandu via drive or flight; six to seven hours by bus

After a hearty breakfast, we walk for around four hours to reach Paypal from Ghandruk. We follow the road to reach Nayapul. We board on the private car to reach Pokhara from Nayapul; this will take one and half hour.Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Jhinu Danda-Naya Pul and then drive to Pokhara

On this day, we get to Jhinu Danda with a fours hours walk downhill. We can go for a bath at the hot spring which is just thirty minutes away from the place of stay.

Move to Jhinu Danda (1780 meters); four to five hours

With three hours walk across lush green oak and rhododendron jungle we reach Ghandruk which is a big Gurung village. We can witness the majestic peaks of Gangapurna, Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and others. We stay at a homestay in Ghandruk where we will be welcomed with Khada and cultural dance show.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Tadapani-Ghandruk (1750 meters); four hours

Poonhill has to offer amazing views of sunrise so w wake u early to get to Poonhill. We reach Poonhill viewpoint where we can enjoy the picturesque view of sunrise with Dhaulagiri (8167 meters), Annapurna III (7855 meters), Varaha Shikhar (7847 meters), Annapurna IV (7525 meters), Annapurna South (7290 meters), Nilgiri (6940 meters), Lamjung Himal (6931 meters), Tukuche (6920 meters), and other peaks. We get back to Ghorepani to get breakfast and then we descend to Tadapani village. Ghorepani-Poonhill en route Tadapani (2721 meters); six to seven hours

We move along the trekking path enjoying the views of Hiunchuli (6441 meters), Machhapuchhre (6997 meters), and Annapurna Mountain (7219 meters). We first cross a river and then ascend to Nangethanti. We reach Ghorepani where we can enjoy the panoramas of Hiunchuli, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, South and other beautiful peaks.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Tikhedhunga-Ghorepani (2874 meters); five to six hours

On this day, we reach Nayapul (1050 meters) as we move past the Lumle village. Our Poonhill trek commences now that we move across Modi river and walk along the lush green rhododendron forest and then walk past a stream. We first cross the place named Birethanti and then reach Ulleri after half an hour.Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Pokhara-Ulleri (1990 meters); five to six hours

We set out for our journey early in the morning in a tourist bus or a private vehicle depending on the size of our group. We head to Pokhara and upon arrival, we rest at the hotel and then go stroll around Phewa Lake and explore the surrounding area. Note that you also have the option to fly to Pokhara (30 minutes flight)Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Kathmandu to Pokhara via flight (850 meters); six hours

Once you arrive at Kathmandu, you will be received by our representative and you will be taken to your hotel for rest; after this, you will be briefed about your trekking journey, the food, lodging, dos and don’ts of the trek. The trail has several suspension bridges equipped with colorful prayer flags, adding a great touch to the landscape. Along the way, we catch the sights of snow-capped peaks, including Anguru (6,369 meters) and Thamserku (6,623 meters), which make a stunning backdrop as we go our way to pine forests and happy-go-lucky villages.Continuing the trek onwards, we will cross the confluence of the great rivers like Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi, marking the beginning of a steady ascent. The climb gives us through dense forests and spectacular views, eventually leading to the fine Namche Bazaar, the busy hub and doorway to Mount Everest. We will settle for the overnight stay at the great Namche Bazaar, where trekkers can rest, acclimatize, and feel the vibrancy atmosphere of this great Sherpa town.

Head to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters, six hours)

On this day, we stay at Namche Bazaar and explore its surroundings. This is to take a break for acclimatization as we are on higher elevation now. &nbsp; After eating breakfast, our trekking journey resumes after 3 or 4 hours climb up to Namche, at 3500 meters the village used to be a trading post where locals bartered cheese and butter for agro products grown at a lower elevation. &nbsp;The village vaunts a stupa, three small museums, and many cafes and many other stores. We stay overnight in Namche Bazaar. &nbsp;Includes the three main meals.

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

After having breakfast, we trek to Lobuche. We first descend to Pheriche village. W will see the majestic views of Ama Dablam, Tawoche and other peaks like Nuptse, North Pokalde (5741 meters) and Kongma Tse (5820 meters). We will reach Shukla after few hours of walk and then continue for Lobuche. Overnight stay in Lobuche.

Move to Lobuche (4940 meters, five hours)

After eating breakfast, we head to Gorakhshep. On our way, we will see snowy peaks. After two or three hours of walking, we will reach Gorakshep, have lunch and hike to EBC which is our final destination. We will get the opportunity to savor the Khumbu icefall and make wonderful memories capturing them by the camera. We return back to Gorakhshep and stay there overnight.Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Move to Gorakhshep (5164 meters) and excursion of Everest Base Camp (5364 meters)

Early in the morning, we commence our hike to Kalapatthar. Kalapatthar’s literal meaning in the Nepali language is Black stone; from here we can get the scenic views of Mt. Everest, Changtse and Nuptse. &nbsp;We move to Pheriche now and stay there overnight.Meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Our hardworking and diligent representative from Himalayan Asia Company will greet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. You will be assisted in checking in and briefed about the program. You can also take a break and rest. In your leisure time, you can take a brief hike in and around Thamel in the evening. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

On this day, we stay in Dingboche for acclimatization. &nbsp;After having breakfast, &nbsp;we hike to Nangkartseng hill which lies beside the Dingboche village. We will get to see the beautiful Chukung valley in Dingboche along with the stone walls and the amazing view of Himalayas. Overnight stay in Dingboche

After eating breakfast, we move to Tengboche. On our way, w will see the majestic Himalayas and beautiful villages. After walking for a few hours, we will see Lhotse, Nuptse, Mt. Everest and others. We will walk through picturesque rhododendron forest and reach Tengboche. We will see a big monastery there. Overnight stay in Tengboche.

Head to Tengboche (3860 meters, five hours)

After having breakfast, we head to Lukla and stay there overnight. This is the final day of our Everest Base Camp trekking.Meal: breakfast, lunch,&nbsp;and dinner

Trek to Lukla(seven hours)

After having a hearty breakfast, w move to Dingboche as we cross the Somare, Imja river and mani stones. We can enjoy the amazing view of snowy mountains here. Overnight stay at Dingboche.Meal: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Trek to Dingboche (4410 meters, five hours)

After a good breakfast, you will be taken to the Lukla airport for your flight back to Kathmandu, carrying impressive memories of the Everest Base Camp trek. The flight gives you a very last moment to admire and respect the incomparable Himalayan sites, going on an incredible journey through the region's grand culture, varied terrain, and Fine Mountain scenes.Your next destination is the great Kathmandu Valley. You will have the whole day to explore Kathmandu and shop for souvenirs for your journey&nbsp;home.

Lukla-Kathmandu; Dinner alongside the cultural show

After a light breakfast, you will arrive at the predestined airport for a splendid flight to Lukla (2,860 meters), a passage to the great Everest region. Upon your arrival, your tour guide will welcome you, provide a brief idea of the detailed trekking itinerary prepared, and introduce you to the rest of the trekking members. This orientation ensures you are ready and well-informed before going off the trail.The trek begins with a gentle descent, following the lovely Dudh Koshi River. You will join the great route leading towards Namche Bazaar, passing you through beautiful landscapes and local villages. After a great walk, you will arrive in the charming town of Phakding, where you will stay overnight. The day's meals, like breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are provided to you, allowing you to rest and recharge for the journey well ahead.

Our trekking trail moves towards the valley followed by a downhill climb to a river before we climb the Ngozumpa Glacier moraine to reach Gokyo valley. Gokyo is known for the six lakes that are here and for the majestic view of the picturesque mountain peaks. We will get to see the three beautiful lakes namely Longpongo, Taboche Tsho, and Dudh Pokhari; each one has a distinct specialty. After lunch, we head to the fourth lake.

Trekking to Gokyo lake (4790 meters, around five hours)

We hike to Gokyo Ri first thing in the morning; we reach there after three hours’ ascent. The scenic beauty of the majestic Himalayas like Everest(8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Cho Oyu (8848m), Chamar (7287m), Nuptse (7861m) and others alongside the enchanting Gokyo Lakes and the enormous Ngozumpa Glacier will feel surreal. We go back to the lodge for breakfast and then set off to Dragnag.

Head to Gokyo Ri (5360 meters, three hours) and trek to Dragnag (4700 meters, three hours)
