The tourism destination of Bimalnagar, Bandipur Gaonpalika-4 in Tanahun, is now being developed. As the most extensive cave and rock climbing in South Asia, Siddha Cave and Rock Climbing is the primary choice for tourists in Bimalnagar, the number of tourists is steadily increasing.

According to Lal Kumar Shrestha, head of the Siddha Cave Management Committee, the number of people visiting the cave has increased.

This cave sits on the Prithvi Highway, 2 kilometres east of Bimalnagar. The cave is roughly a half-hour drive from Vimalnagar and is accessible to everybody. The cave is also a popular tourist destination due to the varied animals and gods' shapes and deities.

Every day, more than 200 internal and external tourists visit the 400-meter-long cave, where various games are played from time to time, according to Chairman Shrestha.

In Bimalnagar, tourist traffic for adventurous and recreational rock climbing has surged. Rock climbing and the natural beauty of the area are also appealing to visitors.

Chairman Shrestha claims that the 150-meter-long and 15-meter-wide rock is the best and longest climbing route in the highway area, excluding the Himalayan region. He said that tourists visiting the area connected to the Prithvi Highway could go rafting on the Marshyangdi River and visit the Siddha Cave, which has increased the number of rock climbing tourists.

Sacred solitude: Siddhi Baba cave

In Chunpahara, 11 climbing routes with a distance of two meters have been opened, with a maximum capacity of 22 people climbing at once. Siddha Cave lies in the Tanahu District's Bandipur Municipality. The cave can be reached after a short walk along the Prithvi Highway from Bimalnagar. It is the world's largest cave, not just in Nepal but also in Asia.

Siddha Gufa cave has a depth of 437 meters. Siddha Gufa cave reaches a height of 50 meters. In this cave, a saint is known as 'Siddha Baba' is said to have achieved enlightenment. People flock to Siddha Gufa Cave to witness the same Baba's grace and absences. Despite its dark and frightening appearance, this cave has become a national and international sensation.

Various authors from seven states throughout the country, as poet Narayan Pokhrel put it, "not only sung the glories of Bandipur but were charmed by the warm welcome provided by the residents here." They were forced to consider how they could make their location resemble Bandipur. Some people sought the chance to do the same.
