This charming village serves as the primary stop on your adventure. 

The trail also takes you through green forests filled with lush and heavy reach of rhododendrons and pine trees, giving the finest experience of the region's biodiversity heritage. Along the way, trekkers are also greeted by friendly local people. This place is known to home to Tamang and Sherpa communities, who have also added happiness and intrigue to the journey with their hospitality and good demeanors.

DAY 1

Kathmandu (1,400 m) to Chisapani (2,160 m) Hiking

After early morning breakfast, take a 40-50 mins drive from the heart of the city to Sundarijal. We then hike upwards through a village following a large water pipe which supplies water to Kathmandu.

Sundarijal or a Beautiful Waterfall is the primary source of drinking water for the valley.

After 30 mins of the hike, we reach an army checkpoint, where you're required to show your identification and other legal permits, and also pay for the entry fees.

The trail continues through a dam and leads to a village. We take lunch at a guesthouse near the end of the village and the beginning of the National Park.

A small settlement named Mulkharkha lies in the buffer zone. We walk past through a beautiful Tamang village enjoying the views of Kathmandu valley below us.

While walking through the park enjoy the beautiful greenery and the possible sighting of wild animals and birds.

Continue walking uphill toward as pass at 2,430 m which heads down to the Chisapani.

Stay overnight at a lodge in Chisapani.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

DAY 2

Chisapani (2,160 m) to Nagarkot (2,175 m) Hiking

Enjoy the sunrise and from Chisapani village, which lies atop a hill in between Nuwakot and Helambu valley. The area also provides a beautiful view of the panoramic views of Everest, Annapurna, and 15 other mountains.

After breakfast, we head down from the village towards Nagarkot following a trail through the National Park and small settlements. Five hours inside the forest and we reach Nagarkot, just in time to watch the sunset.

Stay overnight at a hotel in Nagarkot.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

DAY 3

Nagarkot (2,175 m) to Changu Narayan (1,600 m) Hiking

Enjoy the sunrise from Nagarkot viewpoint. Have breakfast and continue the trek down to Changu Narayan Temple.

It's an ancient holy place in Nepal, best known as the early settlement in Kathmandu Valley after the water drained from the Chovar gorge.

After our visit to the temple, we have lunch and drive back to the capital city.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
