A day-by-day guide to your journey
On this day you arrive at Kathmandu and stay the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.
We spend this day preparing for the trekking journey and getting our permits checked for trekking.
We drive to Chamje to start our trekking journey. This will take around eight hours en route Besisahar.
We head to Bagarchhap which is at the altitude of 1700 meters; this will take us around six to seven hours.
We move to Chame (2630 meters) on this day; we reach Chame from Bagarchhap in approximately five hours.
We reach Pisang in approximately five hours. Pisang is at the height of 3190 meters.
We trek to Manang (3500 meters) on this day.
We spend this day around Manang taking rest and acclimatizing to the increasing altitude.
We head to Yak Kharka (4090 meters), which will take us around three to four hours.
We move ahead to reach Thorong Phedi at 4490 meters which takes us around three to four hours to reach.
On this day, we cross the Thorong La pass and head to Muktinath. This will take us around eight to ten hours.
We visit the temples at Muktinath and explore the area for a bit and trek to Jomsom en route to Lupra. This is going to take approximately seven hours.
We fly back to the city of lakes, Pokhara on this day and we can spend the day relaxing and resting. Or we could go stroll around exploring places in Pokhara.
From Pokhara, we drive back to Kathmandu.
