Your adventure starts with a great drive through Kathmandu to the Syabrubensi, the gateway to the great Langtang region. As you go on this trek, you’ll travel trails gained with several monasteries, chortens, colorful prayer wheels, and flying prayer flags, all of which reflect the great deep-rooted influence of Buddhism in the area. The Langtang Valley, home to the fine Tamang heritage community, invites you to immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere while uncovering the spiritual essence of the famed Kyanjin Gompa. Through the way, the ridge through the Tserko Ri (4,984 meters) offers fine views of the Himalayan peaks, providing a fine highlight of the trek.

Beyond the natural beauty, the Langtang Valley has a vibrant culture and warm hospitality. The panoramic vistas of the snow-capped mountains, green-filled forests, and great array of wildlife are complemented by the rich traditions of the local happy Tamang people. DAY 1

Reach Kathmandu

You shall be picked up at the airport upon your arrival by our airport representative and will be transferred to your hotel. After getting some time for refreshment at the hotel, you will be picked by your tour guide who will take you out for sightseeing around Kathmandu; to Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later in the evening, you will be taken for dinner at an authentic restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2

Spend the day in Kathmandu by sightseeing

You will have a full great sightseeing tour at this great day alongside your experienced tour guide who will show you through the Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bouddhanath and many more. These are the culturally and historically great places in Nepal you could see. Later you will have a pre-trekking huddle at your trekking crew where you will be briefed at your great journey. You can put forward your queries at this meeting. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

DAY 3

Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (1460 meters, six hours) via drive

After a hearty breakfast, we will leave for Syabrunbensi early in the morning. We will enjoy the scenic drive alongside the Trishuli river, mountains, and beautiful villages. We can relish the hilly road, pristine rivers and the majestic mountain peaks like Ganesh Himal (7422 meters), Langtang Lirung (7227 meters) and more. We have the options of going via public bus or via private vehicle. Overnight stay at Sybrubensi.

DAY 4

Move to Lama Hotel (2420 meters, six hours)

On this day, we commence our trekking journey as we head to the Lama hotel as we move through terraced fields and lush green jungles of oak, maple, bamboos and so on. We will get to see the scenic beauty of Nepal here and we will witness the habitat of the wild boars, Langur monkeys, and the red panda. We will see tiny streams and pristine waterfalls along with bee hives hanging by high cliffs above the river, Langtang. Overnight stay at Lama Hotel.

DAY 5

Trek to Thangshyap (3120 meters, around six hours)

We ascend the trail as we head to Thangshyap. We follow the Langtang river savoring the views of Langtang Lirung (7227 meters) as we enter small meadows and summer settlements where yaks come to graze. We will see many teahouses on our way to Thangshyap which have a very Tamang vibe to them. You will be warmly welcomed by the local people. Overnight stay in thangshyap.

DAY 6

Head to Langtang village (33340 meters, three hours)

On this day, we move from Thangshyap to Langtang village as we follow green forests and pasturelands with Langtang Himal range in the background along with Naya Kanga (5844 meters on the side). We will walk past the old Langtang Gompa as we reach the beautiful Langtang valley occupied by Tamang people. We will enjoy a warm cup of tea as we look at the majestic Langtang Lirung (7227 meters). DAY 7

Head to Kyangjin Gompa (3700 meters, four ho

We leave the Langtang village to reach Kyangjin Gompa. We follow the river, Langtang towards the Kyangjin Gompa which is a significant monastery of the region. We can observe the local cheese factory. After a break, we will head to Kyangjin Ri (4850 meters) only to be awestruck by the views of Langtang Lirung and the Yala Pak (5732 meters). Overnight stay in Kyangjin Gompa.

DAY 8

Reach Tserko Ri (4984 meters) with full day hike and picnic lunch. Overnight at Kyangjin Gompa (seven-nine hours)

We hike to Tserko Ri (4984 meters) for around three hours. We will be accompanied by the amazing views of the majestic mountains and snowy glaciers. We will connect to the natural surrounding of Tserko Ri as we ascend it with a distinct sense of accomplishment. We will capture the memories in photographs. And we hike back to our overnight stop, Kyangjin Gompa

DAY 9

Head To Thangshyap (3120 meters, four hours)

We return back to Thangshyap on this day as we retrace our steps. We move through rocky terrains of the Langtang village. We will also witness the majestic views of several snowy peaks, and cross suspension bridges, chortens, monasteries to finally get t our destination of the day. Overnight stay in Thangshyap.

DAY 10

Trek to bamboo (1980 meters, four hours)

We move down to the dense jungle of bamboo and rhododendron as we move past Ghodatabela and Lama hotel. We reach Bamboo as the trail passes alongside the river, Langtang offering views of Ganesh Himal range as we cross several suspension bridges to reach here. Overnight stay in Bamboo.

DAY 11

Move to Sybrubensi (1460 meters, four hours)

We move to Sybrubensi on this day. We follow the Langtang river with few ups and downs through lush green forests and summer settlements. We reach the bridge over the river, Bhote Koshi as we cross it to enter Sybrubensi.

This marks the final day of our trekking journey. Overnight stay in Sybrubensi.

DAY 12

Sybrubensi- Kathmandu via drive (six hours)

We follow all through the same trail we will take before when we make our way at the capital city. Upon arrival through the city of Kathmandu, you will be also transferred at the great hotel of your stay. You will get great time to rest. Overnight stay in the fine 3-star hotel in Kathmandu.

DAY 13

Leisure day for individual activities

On this day, you can carry on with the activities of your preference. You can see and feel the city life of Kathmandu, exploring all the nooks and corners of the city. You can go towards stupas, monasteries, and temples for some great recharge and savour the taste of fine food. You could also go shopping to buy souvenirs and stuff for your friends and family back home. You can find different handicraft items, such as pashmina, mandalas, and woollen clothes. Overnight stay will be done at Kathmandu.
