Tour Highlights

The Langtang Gosainkunda Helambu Trek is a great package that allows you to cover and witness three separate landscapes. These include the crystal clear lakes of the legendary Gosainkunda, the Helambu village, and the great Langtang village. This trekking trail moves great green forests under the shadeness of the majestic Himalayas, with mountain ranges from 5000 to 7000 meters, making the journey's view awesome.  The main feature of this trail is the lovely lush rhododendrons and several bamboo forests with several plants, animals, springs, and ever-flowing waterfalls.

 You will also love the experience of viewing the clear lakes at Gosainkunda and visiting the impressive Langtang Valley.  Gosainkunda is a holy place worshipped by several thousands of Buddhist and Hindu devotees, and the water of the Gosainkunda Lake is believed to have magical healing properties.  You will enjoy the sunrise and soft views through the Helambu village. Animals and birds, including pandas, phosphorus, grey langur, and others, can also be observed on this journey, along with the incredible views of the great Langtang Lirung.

DAY 1

Reach Kathmandu

Our team members will pick you up at the world-renowned Tribhuvan airport and drop you off at your hotel in a private rented vehicle when you land here. You will also receive an excellent briefing on your famed trekking journey. You should look forward to a welcome dinner and cultural dance show. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (1550 meters)

We will move to Syabrubensi early in the morning after breakfast; this is a 7/8 hours drive.  We will see the Trishuli River, green hills and terraced fields on this drive.  Overnight at guesthouse.

DAY 3

Day 3 : Move To Lama Hotel By Trekking (2470 meters)

Trekking starts here, we will move through a bamboo jungle filled with rhododendron and oak alongside the Langtang and Bhote Koshi river. This trekking journey mostly comprises of an uphill climb. Overnight at a guesthouse.

DAY 4

Day 4 : Trekking To Langtang Valley (3430 meters)

After a hearty breakfast at the Lama Hotel, we will head to Langtang valley. We will come across wild animals like the red panda, birds like the Danphe and Langurs.  You will savor the view of Mt. Langtang Lirung (7200 meters) and others. You will stay overnight at a guesthouse. 

DAY 5

Day 5 : Trekking to Kyanjin Gompa (3870 meters)

There is a beautiful Buddhist Monastery in Kyangjin Gompa. The cheese factory is another highlight of this place. Overnight at guesthouse.

DAY 6

Day 6 : Short Hike To Kyanjin Ri (4350 meters) and return to Lama Hotel

We will reach Kyangjin Ri after one and half hour’s walk. We will get back to Lama hotel after enjoying the views of majestic mountain peaks like the Langtang Lirung.

DAY 7

Day 7 : Head To Thulo Syabru (2280 meters)

Now the trail slowly descends as it passes through juniper and pine jungle and moves to Thulo Syabru. You will witness the view of Ganesh Himal (7110 meters) and the Langtang Himal. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

DAY 8

Day 8 : Trekking To Cholang Pati (3650 meters)

This trekking trail leads us to Cholang Pati through dense rhododendron forests where we will see many langurs (monkey) playing and beautiful vista of Ganesh Himal and Langtang Himal. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

DAY 9

Day 9 : Move to Gosainkunda Lake (4460 meters)

Now this trail takes us to LauriBinayak (3920 meters) after 3 hours trek; while descending from LauriBinayak, we will see the holy lake Gosainkunda. The view of Gosainkunda will relieve you from exhaustion as it is very serene and pristine.

DAY 10

Day 10 : Trek To Ghopte (3440 meters) en route Lahure Bina La Pass (4610 meters)

We will be doing steep climb on this day; we have to cross few lakes as well to reach Lahure Bina-La Pass. From the pass, we move to a rocky trail descending from forests and then climbing valley to get to Ghopte (3440 meters).

DAY 11

Day 11 : Trekking To Kutungsang (2450 meters)

Now we ascend to Tharepati after descending from Ghopte and going up and down on the route. The trekking trail to Tharepati connects us to Helambu. After walking for a few hours, we reach a village with prayer flags dancing to the flow of wind on the hill. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

DAY 12

Day 12 : Move To Chisapani (2140 meters)

We will reach villages like Gul Bhanjyang, PatiBhanjyang, and ThodangBetini which is largely occupied by Brahmin and Chettri people; their culture differs from that of the Tamang people who dwell in Langtang valley. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

DAY 13

Day 13 : Trekking To Sundarijal and Return To Kathmandu By Drive

We start moving ahead; first, we descend to Mulkharka (1800 meters) and then move to Sundarijal which is a short walk.  We head to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at a hotel.

DAY 14

Day 14 : Return Home

This fourteen days trek comes to an end. You will be transferred to the airport from your hotel via private vehicle and you will return back to your home country by flight.
