Going on the journey all through Kathmandu is like going on the grand tapestry woven with ancient traditions and daily life. Your tour begins through the famed Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu shrine located at the banks of the Bagmati River. Here, you will witness the devotional ceremonies at the ghats, where devotees practice rituals for centuries. The atmosphere is filled with spiritual energy, as the sounds of chanting and the sight of offerings also profoundly connect with the divine. From there, you'll go to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showing the city's outstanding cultural heritage. Surrounded by age-old temples and smoothly designed palaces, this historic area also indicates the Malla kings' exemplary achievements and architectural brilliance, working as a living museum of Nepal's remarkable past.

As your travelling continues, you will visit the iconic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, representing the significant influence of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The peaceful atmosphere here invites deep reflection and contemplation, with chanting and the fluttering of prayer flags creating a calm environment. Next, you will move to Swayambhunath Stupa, popularly known as the great Monkey Temple, which gives panoramic views of the bustling city below. This hilltop sanctuary is a fine place to reflect on the day's experiences while surrounded by mischievous monkeys and the gentle flow of prayer wheels. Your journey finishes with the incredible drive to Budhanilkantha, where the majestic Jal Narayan Temple has the impressive reclining statue of almighty Lord Vishnu, set against a backdrop of calm beauty. Finally, visiting the Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient palace complex steeped in history, allows you to dive more deeply into Kathmandu's glorious past. DAY 1

Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arriving at the airport, our hardworking and great staff members will also treat you like our own people. They will help you with your belongings and luggage and quickly transfer you to your assigned hotel. After checking in at the nearest hotel, you can settle into your accommodations and rest throughout your journey. This is a great time to refresh and prepare for the exciting days ahead in the great capital city of Kathmandu.

We will conduct a full tour briefing and careful planning in the evening, discuss the full itinerary details, and answer any questions you might have. This session will also provide valuable insights into your trip's finest highlights and intricate information, ensuring you feel well-prepared for your intrepid adventures.

DAY 2

Kathmandu Sightseeing

In the morning, you will go on the scenic drive at Budhanilkantha to visit the sacred Jal Narayan Temple, where you can also witness the great reclining statue of Lord Vishnu resting at the serpent. This tranquil site is a great pilgrimage destination, offering a calm atmosphere for darshan and deep reflection. After entering the spiritual ambience, you will continue at the Hanuman Dhoka, an ancient palace complex showcasing Mandu's extraordinary heritage, rich history, and architectural brilliance.

Upon returning to your hotel, you will have leisure time and explore the city at your own pace. This is the best opportunity for shopping, where you can also find rare local crafts, souvenirs, and age-old handicrafts in the busy markets. Whether you relax in the café or wander the vibrant streets, you'll have a great chance to immerse yourself in the local culture.

 

DAY 3

Kathmandu Sightseeing

After enjoying a fine breakfast, you will go sightseeing through a great day, beginning with the most excellent Hindu religious site, Pashupatinath Temple. This holy Hindu shrine, situated at the Bagmati River's banks, is one of the most sacred and best Hindu shrines dedicated to the almighty Lord Shiva. Here, you can observe and feel thousands of devotees' rituals, last rites, and ceremonies, experiencing the in-depth spiritual atmosphere surrounding the temple's sacred grounds. Following your visit, you will also go to the sacred Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world's largest Buddhist stupas. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a central Tibetan Buddhism site in Nepal, and it is surrounded by a fabulous mandala and a vibrant atmosphere filled with many colour prayer flags and chanting of sacred hymns.

Upon the great break, the tour continues through the fine Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, on a hill offering panoramic views of Kathmandu. This ancient site is also home to several decorated stupas, shrines, and playful monkeys, making it a rare and great place to explore and feel. Your final stop for the day will be Patan Durbar Square, a historical area renowned for its marvellous art, architecture, temples, and numerous cultural lives. 

DAY 4

Departure

On your final day in  Kathmandu, you will have a whole morning to relax and enjoy your last time in this fine city. Whether you see the main spot, do some very last-minute shopping, or rest at your hotel, this is your best opportunity to see and feel deep into the local culture one last time. 

Later in the day, you will be transferred to the Tribhuvan Airport for your next journey. Our team will ensure your departure is full and tension-free, assisting you with any needed arrangements. As you bid farewell to the lovely Asian nation of Nepal, carry with you the great memories of your adventures, the warmth of the generous people, and the incredible beauty of the fine landscapes you've already spanned and explored.
