Our professionally planned itinerary of Island Peak climbing offers you a pair of days additional at Namche Bazaar to get acclimatized. After the mandatory climbing practice course offered by our Climbing Sherpa on various aspects of climbing technique and using climbing gear, we then commence the climb and summit. After the summit, you will gently descend with an intellect of accomplishment following the route that takes you to many cultural places, such as Pangboche and then Namche and ends at Lukla. If you are looking for a lengthier trip to Island Peak more than 18 days then we can comprise Everest Base Camp and Gokyo and make the itinerary for 21 days.

DAY 1

Reach Kathmandu

After completing your journey, you will return to Kathmandu and check into your hotel for an overnight stay. This is an excellent opportunity to relax and reflect on the great experiences of your adventure, or if time allows, explore the vibrant city streets and feel the final taste of local cuisine.

DAY 2

Permits preparation day

This day is preparing all the needed permits for the trek, such as TIMS cards and any required national park or conservation area permits. Our team shows the documentation is handled efficiently, giving you great peace of mind. Meanwhile, you can relax, explore the entire region, or shop for last-minute essentials to enjoy the adventure.

DAY 3

Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla & trek to Phakding (2,652m) 3 hours

DAY 4

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

DAY 5

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Rest day at Namche Bazaar for adjustment.

DAY 6

Namche to Tengboche. (3,867m) 5 hours

Leaving Namche Bazaar behind, we will continue our trek at the Deboche, 3,820 meters. The trail gives breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, such as Ama Dablam and Everest, as we go through rhododendron forests and cross suspension bridges at the glacial rivers.

DAY 7

Tengboche to Dingboche (4,358m) 5 hours

Trekking from Tengboche to Dingboche.

DAY 8

Acclimatization at Dingboche

On this day, we will from Dingboche to Lobuche, going further at the rugged Himalayan terrain. The trail takes us through a stark yet great landscape of fine glacial moraines and rocky paths, with awe-inspiring views of tall sky touching peaks like Pumori and Nuptse.

DAY 9

Dingboche to Lobuche. (4,910 m) – 5 hours
