DAY 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

When you will find our office members at Tribhuwan International Airport in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, and will greet you and take you to your designated hotel. There, you will also meet our intrepid Sherpa guide, who will also provide food as well as refreshments and an introduction at the Everest Base Camp Trek, setting at the small trek for your trek ahead.

After the brief planning, take a leisurely walk down the street to familiarize yourself with the local community. Enjoy a tasty dinner, then enjoy and relax around at night, preparing at the fantastic journey that awaits you in the further days.

DAY 2

Kathmandu sightseeing tour and final preparation for the journey

Today, you will visit some of the city's greatest sites at the sightseeing tour at the city of Kathmandu. Explore Pashupatinath, the country's great Hindu temple, and look in fascination at the incomparable Boudhanath, the massive Buddhist stupa in all of Nepal. You'll also visit Swayambhunath, well known for the stunning views and the total mix at the Buddhist and Hindu monuments that shows the country's religious peace and unity.

In the evening time, participate at the great session and prepare at the next trek, ensuring you're ready at the exciting adventure now. After a day combining with exploration, return at your hotel for the great stay. Breakfast will help boost your strength for the upcoming journey.

DAY 3

Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m) (3 hours walk)

Your adventure begins early at the morning when our travelling guide picks you up at the drive to the local airport, where you'll take the scenic flight to Lukla. The 35-minute flight gives great views at the majestic Himalayas, uplifting at your great excitement at the future trek. Upon arriving at Lukla, you'll also meet at your designated professional porter and leave on your journey.

The trek at Phakding takes around four hours. It features a mix of varied trekking trails that show the various terrains of the Khumbu region. The main section of the trail also shows you breathtaking scenery and the essence of adventure that lies ahead, setting a different base for your fantastic journey.

DAY 4

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) (6 hours walk)

After a heavy breakfast at Phakding, we go to Namche, a happy, vibrant mountain town. Our journey also includes crossing the river twice at very high suspension bridges. Soon, we enter the Sagarmatha National Park, which helps to preserve the fragile alpine natural system. The trail also steepens as we make our way up to the famous Namche Bazar.

A clear sky will reward us with our first breathtaking view of Mount Everest. Namche, the biggest trading settlement in the Khumbu region, is busy with activity, most notably at the Saturday market, where Tibetan yak caravans and many traders combine. 

DAY 5

Acclimatization day

Situated on two slopes and surrounded by the great peaks of the mountain Khumbu, Namche is an excellent hub filled with many lodges, tea shops, and several gift shops. Spending a day here is perfect for acclimatization before going towards the Syangboche. You can also visit the Khunde Hospital, made by Sir Edmund Hillary, or travel to the Everest View Hotel for a central sunset view of iconic peaks such as Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. 

After a tasty lunch, we continue on our journey, avoiding the Khimde trail. We also stop by the National Park Centre and Museum, which offer great views of the surrounding landscape. Following our acclimatization setup, we return to our lodge for some well-deserved hard drinks and a full night's sleep.

DAY 6

Trek to Tengboche (3860m) (5 hours walk)

After breakfast at Namche, we start our trek at Tengboche, where fine views of Thamserku, Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam await. The main trail gives incredible panoramas of the majestic Himalayas, and along the way, we may spot wildlife like musk deer, pheasants, and several Himalayan Thar. The path leads us to Kyangjuma and eventually to Sanasa, the main junction for trekkers going to Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Valley.

Continuing through the pine forests, we cross the Dudh Kosi River at the prayer flag-adorned bridge, arriving at the refined village of Phunki Tenga, where we enjoy a great lunch. Afterwards, a steep ascent through the trees brings us to Tengboche, home to the biggest Buddhist monastery on the Khumbu side. 

DAY 7

Trek to Pheriche (4410m) (5 hours walk)

After going from Tengboche, we cross at the Imja Khola and move through the forest before gradually going to Pangboche. This significant settlement also gives fine views of Ama Dablam, adorned by the local gompa, mani walls, and several pine trees, creating a great backdrop.

Continuing our trek, we hike for another two hours until we reach Pheriche, where we will also spend the night. We enjoy the comforts of the nearby resort with large board, the quiet atmosphere, and the incredible mountain scenery surrounding us.

DAY 8

Acclimatization Day.

Today is a rest day to acclimate and refresh our bodies. However, we won't be sitting idly; instead, we will go on a beautiful trek up the valley to visit the fine Tshola Tsho Lake, framed by the towering walls at the famed places of Cholatse and Tawache. This scenic walk allows us to see the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

In addition, we will go down to the ridge overlooking the Dingboche, offering great sights of the Imja Valley and the south side of Mt. Lhotse. After a great day of exploration and acclimatization, we will also return to the Pheriche for a great night at the local lodge, enjoying full appetites and meals to add to our journey.

DAY 9

Trek to Lobuche (4910m) (5 hours walk)

We start our trek in the expansive valley, surrounded by the tall peaks of the Cholatse and Tawache. After a right turn, we face a remarkable ascent at the foot of the Khumbu Glacier, where Duglha's tea house offers a perfect place for lunch. The trail winds through the glacier's terminal moraine, providing a captivating landscape.

At the top of our climb, we also encounter several stone shrines, all dedicated to the Sherpas who lost their valuable lives on Everest, a fine reminder of their bravery. The path goes through the glacier until we go down at the bunch of buildings which is at the place of Lobuche, where we will also spend the night in the local lodge, enjoying delicious full meals to strengthen our body and mind for the journey ahead of us in future.

DAY 10

Trek to Gorakshep (5140m) visit Everest Base Camp (5364m) (8 hours walk)

Today was challenging as we started at our ascent at the Gorakshep after the great breakfast in our lodge. Trekkers from Gorakshep can also choose and go to Everest Base Camp or climb at the great place known as Kala Patthar. 

After a full day of exploration and challenging achievement, we will spend the night at our lodge at a height of 5,364 meters. 

DAY 11

Hike to Kalapather (5545m) and trek to Dingboche (4410m) (7 hours walk)

We will woke up early today trek at Kala Patthar (5,545 meters), reaching the main top till 4 a.m. This point also gives a best close-up view of Mount Everest, the surrounding peaks, and the amazing Khumbu Glacier. After taking at the breathtaking scenery and giving memories, we'll return at the Gorakshep for the main breakfast.

After the main rest, we will begin at down to Dingboche, where we will spend the night at the small place. 

DAY 12

Trek to Island Peak Base Camp (5250m) (6 hours walk)

After enjoying a fine night at Dingboche, we will go at the Island Peak Base Camp, travelling at the picturesque Imja Valley. The trek also gives stunning views of iconic peaks like Ama Dablam and Lhotse, giving the journey a delicate delight. We also expect to reach Base Camp by mid-afternoon, where we will take some time to relax and be ready.

Once settled, you'll receive the necessary training in using climbing gear, such as ice axes, harnesses, and more. We will spend the night at the tented camp at Island Peak Base Camp, enjoying great meals to prepare for the adventure well ahead of us.

DAY 13

Climb Island Peak (6165m) and trek to Chhukung (4750m) (10-12 hours walk/climb)

At the ascent of Island Peak (6,189 meters), we start the climb at around 1 a.m. The start section navigates the rocky terrain that requires great attention. We'll reach the ridgeline as we follow the path, leading us to the excellent pass at the tall glacier.

Once at the glacier, we will also need to use the ropes from the crevasses, but our guides will assist with rope management. Upon reaching the summit, we will enjoy the fine views and take memorable photos before returning to the Chukkung. 

DAY 14

Trek back to Namche (3440m) (7 hours walk)

We will return to Namche, descending a gentle slope that offers excellent views of the surrounding mountain peaks. Our journey will take us to great villages such as Tengboche, Phungki Thanka, Pangboche Orsho, and Somare and give us time to explore the great culture and scenic beauty on the Khumbu side.

The trek has some steep sides, but the great paths will guide us smoothly back to the Namche. Once we arrive, we go to a nearby lodge at night, enjoying the full board of meals that reactivate our energy for the great day at the trek

DAY 15

Trek back to Lukla (2800m) (7 hours walk)

It is our last day in the breathtaking mountains as we return from Namche to Lukla. The journey also takes us to the scenic Dudh Koshi River, where we will enjoy the silent landscapes that have become our home over the past weeks. After a walk of around seven hours, we will reflect on the great experiences and memories made during the journey.

Upon reaching Lukla, we will settle down at the nearby lodge at night, indulging in the main meal to celebrate the end of our adventure. This evening is ideal for relaxing and talking about stories with fellow trekkers.

DAY 16

Return flight to Kathmandu (1400m) (45 minutes flight)

The 45-minute flight gives breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape, making it a great end to our trek. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, we'll return to our hotel, where you can also unwind and reflect on your incredible journey.

Enjoy the tasty farewell dinner in the evening, celebrating the adventures shared with fellow men and women. This night is an excellent opportunity to take in the flavours of Nepalese food and think about the unforgettable memories made on the trek. 

DAY 17

Departure Day

On your final day in Kathmandu, our team will be ready to see you at the international airport three hours before your scheduled flight home. After having the final breakfast, take some moment to reflect on the incredible journey you've felt in Nepal.
