Tour Highlights

The Ghandruk 9-day trip is a remarkable journey into the heart of Nepal's Annapurna area, offering trekkers a perfect blend of natural beauty, cultural richness, and thrilling mountain adventure.

Starting and Ending in Pokhara

The journey begins and concludes in the beautiful city of Pokhara. From there, we will drive to Nayapul in approximately half an hour by rented car or van. The trek takes you through picturesque villages, terraced farms, and lush forests before reaching the charming Gurung village of Ghandruk.

Alternatively, you can opt to drive to Birethati, which is just a half-hour walk from Nayapul. From Birethati, we follow the right-hand track where the Modi Khola (stream) flows into the area.

Scenic Highlights

Trekkers will be treated to breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountain ranges, along with stunning sunrises and sunsets over the Himalayas.

Cultural Immersion

In Ghandruk, travelers can immerse themselves in the rich traditions of the Gurung community. Highlights include:

  • Exploring historic stone houses.
  • Visiting the local Gurung Museum.
  • Enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Best Seasons to Visit

Both spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) offer ideal trekking conditions in Ghandruk. During these seasons, the weather is cool, with minimal rain, making it perfect for exploring.

However, these are also the peak seasons for tourists, so expect larger crowds along popular trekking routes and higher demand for accommodations.

This journey promises an unforgettable experience, blending nature, culture, and adventure in one of Nepal's most iconic trekking destinations.
