When you arrive at the Tribhuvan airport, happy and waiting for Sherpa Expedition & Trekking staff members will greet you warmly and take you to your designated hotel. Once there, you can settle in, relax, and rejuvenate after completing your journey.
In the evening, enjoy the warm welcome dinner organized through the Sherpa Expedition & Trekking. Here, you will eat delicious and healthy local cuisine and experience genuine Nepali hospitality and kindness. After dinner, retreat to your comfortable dwelling place for a restful overnight stay in the beautiful city of Kathmandu.
On this day, we take an early flight to Lukla where our Everest trek will commence. We will meet our trekking crew in Lukla and start our trekking journey as reach there. We first descend to Cheplung village as w savor the view of Mt. Khumbila, the sacred mountain which has never been scaled by anyone. We then descend to Phakding, our overnight stop.
We will move across Mojo to reach Namche Bazaar. Some travelers make a stop at Mojo (if you are willing to stop, you can visit the Mount Kailash Teahouse as it offers hot showers.) We enter the Sagarmatha National park now. We will have abundant time to enjoy in Namche Bazaar, the market town of the Sherpas. You will probably catch the first glimpse of Mt. Everest here.
We head to Tengboche from Namche Bazaar as we relish the view of Ama Dablam, Kangtega, Taboche, Lhotse, Shar, and Thamserku. As we move forward, we walk past an army barrack in Phunke Tenga and reach Tengboche and stop for lunch. We visit the popular monastery of Tengboche and move forward. After ascending for two hours, we pass by the place named Deboche where we come across the head office of National park. We reach Pangboche which is popular for the Pangboche Gompa. We stay overnight at a lodge or teahouse on a full board basis.
After a hearty breakfast in Pangboche, we ascend to Pheriche which is a popular lunch place for trekkers. After we walk over a flat route and pass some tea shops, we reach Thukla. We stay at a lodge or a teahouse on a full board basis.
After eating breakfast, we climb uphill to reach the Everest Base Camp trail and walk past the Pyramid, Lobuche Pass (5110 meters) along with the Gorak Shep Tsho lake in Gorakshep. We eat lunch in Gorakshep and walk across Camp and Pumori B.C to reach Everest Base Camp (5364 meters). We return to Gorakshep to stay overnight. Overnight stay in a lodge or teahouse on a full board basis.
On this day, we walk ahead enjoying the view of sun rays falling on the snowy peaks like Lhotse, Nuptse and Mt. Everest to reach Kala Patthar (5550 meters). We descend to Dingboche en route Lobuche and finally reach Pheriche. We stay overnight in Pheriche at a lodge or teahouse on a full board basis.
We descend down to the same trail comprising of stone walls as we pass by places namely Tengboche and Deboche and arrive at Phunke Tenga. We cross a picturesque suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi river and move towards Namche Bazaar. We will enjoy the views of majestic Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Thamserku and Tawache.
We commence our journey as we head to our destination for the day that is Lukla. We move downhill alongside the river, Dudh Koshi. We walk past many suspension bridges, monasteries as well as villages before we reach Lukla. We spend the day in Lukla relaxing as this is our last day around the mountains. Overnight stay in Lukla.
In the morning, we take an incredible scenic flight all through Lukla and Kathmandu and bid farewell to the great Everest region's fantastic landscapes. Upon arrival through the renowned Tribhuvan airport, you will be transferred to your designated dwelling hotel, where you can relax and enjoy your entire journey.
In the evening, you will be treated to a special farewell dinner to celebrate the excellent finishing of your great Everest adventure. This meal, filled with great local food, is a chance to share memories of the trek and enjoy the great hospitality of the nation of Nepal. After this fine gathering, you'll go to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay, finishing your unforgettable Himalayan journey.
This day marks your final day in Nepal. You can exchange emails with your travel mate and organize the photos. Our representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will leave you to the airport just three hours before the flight. You go back to your native country.
