Tour Highlights

The Everest Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal's most significant and best destinations, giving many thousands of trekkers from around the country every second to each year. Located in the fine Everest region, this trek takes you through the base of the world's most iconic and most-scaled mountain, Mt. Everest, also known as Sagarmatha in the word Nepali. Everest is an incredible, eventful sight, around 8,848 meters (29,029 feet), giving several trekkers ambitions and goals. The first triumphant ascension of Everest was made in 1953 by the legendary Sir Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and the famed popular Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa from the Asian nation of Nepal. Since then, the region has also attracted several adventurers from all corners and nooks of the known world.

The Everest region is also through Everest, though—trekkers are also treated to the breathtaking views of other majestic peaks like Mt. Pumori (7,145 meters), Gokyo Ri (5,350 meters), and great Kalapathhar (5,545 meters), all of which gives spectacular scenes at the great surrounding Himalayas. With several trekking routes, the region also provides an incredible array of experiences suitable for trekkers of all levels, from beginners to veteran mountaineers or trekkers. While reaching the Everest Base Camp (5,380 meters) is the great goal for the trek, the journey itself is filled with fine experiences. The trek also takes you through fine Sherpa villages, where you will witness the rare culture and way of life for the local ridden people. The trail also goes through ancient monasteries, Buddhist stupas, and prayer flags, adding a tremendous spiritual dimension to the adventure.

Along these lines, trekkers also have the excellent opportunity to explore the rich natural beauty of the famous found region. The landscape is diverse, ranging through the lush forests, rhododendron groves at the alpine meadows, and the finest barren rocky terrain. Besides the stunning scenery, the Everest region has many great and rare wildlife species. Depending on your luck and privilege, you might spot rare animals like the elusive Himalayan tahr, musk deer, the excellent barking deer, and the rare and hard-to-find blue sheep, as well as delicate species of birds like the rare great Tibetan snow-cock. Yaks can be seen carrying goods through the trail, adding to the region's rare charm. The Everest Base Camp Trek is a great physical challenge and cultural and natural adventure that'll leave you with lasting memories of the Himalayas' most incredible beauty.
