During the trekking season, there are Numerous Daily Flights into and out of Lukla Weather Permitting. To enter the national park is required park entry permit which is possible to obtain from national park office in Kathmandu and on Check Post.

DAY 1

Reach Kathmandu (1275 meters)

When you reach to the international airport at Kathmandu, you need to complete the necessary customs formalities related to VISA and others. After this, you can go find our representative from Everest View Treks and Expedition; s/he will be waiting for you at the airport terminal with our name on aboard. You will be dropped off to your hotel for relaxation.

DAY 2

Kathmandu City Tour; Trek Preparation

This day will be known for completing the tremendous official procedures and for a fun sightseeing tour around the happening capital. After getting a healthy breakfast, we will visit important cultural sites, such as World Heritage sites like the legendary monuments like  Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath and the ever-popular Swayambhunath. You will be acquainted with the other trek members later in the afternoon and meet and become familiar with the trek leader in the EVT office, where a pre-trek discussion and planning will be formulated and designed.

DAY 3

Fly to Lukla; Lukla to Phakding (2610 meters)

We start very early at the airport in   Lukla, 2840 meters away. We board the twin-engine aircraft. This incredible flight gives the finest and best natural views of alluring landscapes and the lovely Himalayas. After we get to Lukla, we will find our professional and dedicated porters, who will assist us with the heavy baggage. We walk a steep path and then descend to the place named Chheplung (2660 meters) and then Thado Khosi Gaon. Here, we will find a suspension bridge we cross to find the top of the valley, that is, Mount Kusum Kanguru (6367 meters). We get to the Ghat (2590 meters) after we climb a bridge along the Dudh Koshi River. After a climb, we visit the monastery and reach Phakding (2610 meters). Overnight stay at the Teahouse.

DAY 4

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters)

We move across the river, Dudh Koshi, and then ascend the valley to get to Toktok (2760 meters) and Benkar (2710 meters). The path moves along the beautiful river valley, and we walk past lush green rhododendrons and pine forests, which become livelier in Spring as the flowers bloom, and the view of the waterfall is spectacular. We can witness snowy peaks like Thamserku (6623 meters) and the Khumbi La (5765 meters) in Benkar. At Benkar, we will cross the river Dudh Koshi. We walk for some time to reach Monjo (2840 meters). We get to the Sagarmatha National Park, where our permits are checked. Then, we move down to a big farm and then follow the west banks of Dudh Koshi after we cross a bridge. Jorsale (2830 meters) is at a close distance. 

We go through the rules several times and then climb the deep path near the confluence of the rivers Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi. After climbing the scale steeply, we reach Namche Bazaar (3440 meters). 

We can also spot the majestic peaks of Lhotse (8516 meters), Nuptse (7879 meters), and the mighty and popular Mt. Everest (8848 meters) before we get to Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the entrance to Khumbu and is also the prime trading point in the region. 

The people organize Saturday markets. There is even a meeting spot for the Tibetan Yak Caravans and the Hindu Traders coming from the lowlands to trade here. Overnight stay at the Teahouse.

DAY 5

Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar (3440 meters)

We must take time for acclimatization before we move to a higher altitude. For any kind of trips or tours, you should talk to your trek leader and consult. We can move to the Thame village which is around seven or eight hours away for going and returning to Namche. We can visit the popular Thame monastery there. However, most travelers prefer taking the convenient option which is going to the viewpoint and enjoying the sight of the Lhotse (8516 meters), Lhotse Shar (8382 meters), Ama Dablam (6856 meters), Kangtega (6783 meters), Cholatse (6335 meters), Khumbu La (5765 meters), Nuptse (7879 meters), Thamserku (6623 meters), Tabuchi peak (6495 meters) along with the Kwangde Ri (6011 meters). Overnight stay at a teahouse.

DAY 6

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867 meters)

We climbed for some time to reach the Chor camp in Namche Bazaar. We then walked quickly to Kyangjuma (3550 meters). On our way to Kyangjuma through the Chor camp, which is located in Namche Bazaar, we could also enjoy incredible views of the mountainous peaks Lhotse (8516 meters), Mt. Everest (8848 meters), and the great Kwangde Ri (6011 meters).

The path also moves steeply through rhododendrons and pine jungles now. We will reach Phungi Thanga, a satisfactory settlement along the bank of the great Dudh Koshi, at an altitude of around 3250 meters. We will move up the excellent path and then through the rhododendron and pine forest at the top of the hill where Tengboche Monastery (3867 meters) is situated. 

It is a religious spot in Sherpa Land in the Khumbu region. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

DAY 7

Tengboche to Dingboche (4410 meters)

We head to Deboche from Tengboche and descend across juniper, birches, and rhododendron and conifer forests. We will find a monastery and a settlement in Deboche. We walk past Mani walls and move ahead to Imja Khola from Deboche. We might spot pheasants, blue sheep, and musk deer as we cross the river, Imja. We will see beautifully carved Mani stones as we walk past the Imja River to reach Lower Pangboche (3930 meters). We ascend to Somare (4010 meters) and then walk relatively easily to Orsho (4190 meters). We will find two paths ahead; the left leads to Pheriche, and the right leads to Dingboche (4410 meters). We will get to spot the majestic peaks like Lhotse (8516 meters), Mt. Everest (8848 meters), Lhotse Shar (8382 meters), Ama Dablam (6856 meters) and many more summits.

DAY 8

Rest Day (Acclimatization) in Dingboche

This is the second as well as the final day we use for acclimatization to adjust to a higher altitude. We move to a higher altitude place and then retrace our steps back to Dingboche on this day. We hike to Nangkartshang Hermitage; this is a popular stop for many travellers. Based on your preference and wellbeing, we can hike till the summit.

DAY 9

Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 meters)

We go through the meadows and farm fields on this day before we go towards the lateral and more significant part of the moraine of the glacier, Khumbu. We head to the great Dughla (4620 meters) and then move up at the tremendous steep path to Dughla Pass (4830 meters). We will witness memorials made for deceased climbers. We can spot the fantastic views of the peaks Kangtega (6783 meters), Ama Dablam (6856 meters), Thamserku (6623 meters), Pumori (7165 meters), and many more.  We move ahead on the steep trail and then walk to Lobuche (4910 meters). 

DAY 10

Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140 meters); Move to Everest Base Camp (5364 meters)

On this day, we walk along the Khumbu valley side and then move along a meadow near the pristine, glacial moraine. We have some ups and downs along the rocky trail. We can savor the view of Lingtren (6713 meters), Pumori (7167 meters), Khumbutse (6639 meters), Lobuche East (6090 meters), Nuptse (7879 meters), and the Khumbu icefall as well as glacier. We move down to Gorak Shep (5140 meters) and then grab our lunch. After lunch, we move to the Everest Base Camp (5364 meters) which will take us around four and half hours to reach and return. We have to walk on snow-covered rocks and glacier here. We will spot several frozen lakes around EBC. We can witness mountain peas like the Lingtren (6713 meters), Pumori (7165 meters), Nuptse (7879 meters), Lhotse (8516 meters) and Khumbutse (6639 meters). We cannot view the mighty Everest from Everest Base Camp nevertheless you can see it on the trekking path. The sight of Khumbu icefall is amazing from here. We get back to Gorak Shep after this. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

DAY 11

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545 meters) and then head to Pheriche (4260 meters)

We will begin early through the Gorak Shep as we head the Kala Patthar to see the great view of majestic mountain peaks and the excellent sunrise scene. It will take around 30 minutes to climb all across the steep path to reach the point. We can spot the beautiful sunrise and the peaks like Lhotse (8516 meters), Everest (8848 meters), and many more mountains that can be seen here. We will also see Changtse, Lho La, South Col, Khumbu Icefall and other lakes. The panorama of Mt. Everest and Mt. Pumori will take us back. We get back to Gorak Shep, eat breakfast, and then walk past Dughla and Lobuche. We come across two paths; the left leads to Dingboche, and the right takes us to Pheriche. We walk gently to reach Pheriche  (4260 meters), where we stay overnight.

DAY 12

Pheriche to Tengboche (3867 meters)

We walk for some time and then move down towards Imja Khola. We move uphill after we cross a bridge where we can find memorials made for climbers. We move down to Orso, walk till Somare and then again have some ups and downs. We come across two paths; the right one leads to Phortse village en route Upper Pangboche and the left one takes us to Tengboche en route Lower Pangboche. We move along the path which leads to Tengboche; we will find beautiful carved Mani stones on our way to the river Imja; we cross it by a suspension bridge and then we move to Debouche.  We climb for some time to reach Tengboche as we move across rhododendron, birches and conifers forest. W finally get to Tengboche (3867 meters). We a savour the view of the sunrise as well as sunset here. We can spot the amazing sight of the mighty Mt. Everest and other peaks from Tengboche. We will find the amazing Tengboche monastery which is popular around the Solu Khumbu region. This is also the religious point for the Sherpa people. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

DAY 13

Tengboche to Monjo (2835 meters)

We start retracing our steps back on this day from Tengboche. We follow the river, Dudh Koshi as we move across the lush green rhododendron forest and the amazing waterfalls. We walk through the green pine forest as we head to Namche; we may even spot musk deer at the forest. We might meet porters from lowlands and highlands along with Tibetan people on our way. We head to Larja Dobhan as we walk past pine jungle before we get there. We will see Lhotse and Everest for the last time here. We head downwards for a while after crossing a bridge in Larja Dobhan and then we follow the Dudh Koshi river. We move to Jorsale. We ascend for a while, cross a suspension bridge and then finally get to Monjo (2835 meters) after a steep climb. Overnight stay at a teahouse.

DAY 14

Monjo to Lukla (2840 meters)

On this day, we move down for some time and then cross the river, Dudh Koshi from a suspension bridge. We walk till Benkar. We have some ups and downs along the trail and then we walk easily along the valley of Dudh Koshi to finally reach Phakding (2610 meters)  after crossing a suspension bridge.  We move down and then climb uphill to walk past Buddhist setups at the village named Ghat. We move up to Thado Koshi and then descend to cross a bridge. We follow an upward trail to reach Chablung and then head to Lukla. We will see several inns on the way along with the houses. We then walk past the scrub forest which is above the school alongside the houses of the village Chaurikharka. We climb for around half an hour to get to Lukla. The hotel of our stay is close to Lukla airport.  Overnight stay at the teahouse.

DAY 15

Fly to Kathmandu (1350 meters)

We fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla in the morning. We can savour the amazing views on this scenic flight. After we reach Kathmandu, we will lave you to your hotel.

DAY 16

Short city tour to Pashupatinath, Bhaktapur, and Boudhanath

After a blissful and tongue-tickling breakfast, you will go on a fabulous tour and hike around the great Kathmandu Valley. You will visit places like the ever-revered Hindu Temple Pashupatinath, an artistic-filled place known as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and the ever-popular Buddhist shrine Boudhanath Stupa. In the evening, you will be taken to your quality-made hotel. We will also have a good farewell dinner.

DAY 17

Farewell to Nepal

This is your final day in Nepal. Kindly remember us for your trips in the future. You will be dropped to the airport around three hours before the flight time by our representative at Everest View Treks and Expedition. Please note that we can arrange a helicopter for you in case of an emergency.  The charge should be covered by the clients or by insurance.
