The journey along the Everest Base Camp is not only a journey to the Everest Region but also a great chance to capture the unbelievable beauties of Khumbu region from the viewpoint called Kalapathar (5,550m). You can have the enormous sight of world’s highest mountain Mt Everest (8848m) along with other eights thousands including Mt. Lhotse, Mt Makalu and Mt Cho Oyu from the Everest base camp but for the best view of these mountains, you have to climb up little to Kalapathar. This trek helps you to know about the existing style of the world-renowned and bravest climbers- The Sherpas. You can spend some time in Sagarmatha National Park watching the stunning floras and faunas protected in the national park. You can visit the resident communities, monasteries, love the peculiar sceneries and the generosity of Sherpas.

DAY 1

Arrival to Kathmandu

Upon coming through the Tribhuvan International Airport, our valued and experienced representative will come and greet you with a company sign for easy access. You will through be transferred to your hotel to settle in and relax. In the evening, please meet your guide for a briefing about the trek and its essential details. Enjoy a great overnight stay at the hotel, which includes breakfast.

DAY 2

Fly to Lukla (2800m) 30 mins and Trek to Phakding (2652m) 3 hours walk

We take a scenic flight early morning to Lukla. It is about 30 -35 minutes of thrilling flights in the mountain region. And then after we landed Lukla our real trek begins for Phakding. We hike about 4 hours along the river by crossing the suspension bridge. Overnight at local guest house. 

DAY 3

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 5-6 hours walk.

The trail currently goes over the upstream along the waterside to the connection of Bhote Koshi River and Dudh Koshi River. We will have to cross a Hilary bridge. Then we will ascend for Namche Bazaar. On the way, it gives a chance us incredible photographic opportunities as the peaks of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8511m), Nuptse (7879m), Arna Dablam (6856m) and Taweche (6542m) come into view for the first time of the trip. Overnight at local Guesthouse.

DAY 4

Rest at Namche Bazaar

As Namche is a cool place and the climate here is so unpredictable so, you should be physically and mentally prepared to face it. After breakfast, we will move towards the Everest view Hotel/Khumjung. We have to go above Namche Bazaar and pass through Syangboche. From the top of the hill above Syangboche, you will get the splendid view of world highest peak Mount Everest(8,848m), including other peaks like Tangboche peak (6,367m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama Dablam (6,856m). After reaching to Khumjung you can visit the school established by Hillary. We will start the next trek after having lunch passing the footpath of Khimde. After having a good time there we will get back to Namche. Overnight at local guest house.

DAY 5

Trek to Tengboche from Namche Bazaar 5-6 hours walk.

The trekking today is not as difficult as the trail is flat and moderate. After having breakfast, we will leave for Tengboche. The trial goes ups and downs offering us the splendid view of snowy caps like of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Ama Dablam. You can also meet animals, visit some monasteries and go over some lovely village on the way to Tengboche. Going through woodland and waterway, we will be at Tengboche. Overnight at guest house.

DAY 6

Tengboche to Dingboche (4360m) 5-6 hours

We start to walk via forests consisting of abundant trees after breakfast. While hiking in this way, we reach Pangboche village. From there we can sight the highland top like Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Ama Dablam. The upper Pangboche gives us a more original view of the Himalayas and the Pangboche Monastery. We trail the same path and enter the Imja Khola after having lunch. We follow the same path and climb the rough rise to reach Dingboche. Overnight at Lodge.

DAY 7

Trek to Lobuche (4940m) 4-5 hours

After having breakfast we will set off for Lobuche. The trek goes along the beautiful views of mountains like the Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5,741m), Kongma-Tse (5,820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. We will cross many villages and then reach Dungla. We will cross a river of Khumbu glacier before we reach Dungla. Then climbing up for about an hour to the top of the hill, you will see Mt. Pumori and other peaks west of Everest. After furthermore walk, we will reach Lobuche. Overnight at guest house.

DAY 8

Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364m/17,594ft) 6-7 hours

Today is a long and tiring 8 hours walk to reach base camp. We have to climb through meadows and moraine stones steps then reach to Gorakhshep, either climb to Kalapathar or continue heading to Everest base camp. After some moment we will be at Everest Base Camp, a place no lesser than a paradise. After spending some memorable time in base camp, we will return to Gorak Shep. Overnight at guest house.

DAY 9

Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5545m/18,192ft) to Pheriche (4288m/14,070ft): 7-8 hours

Today morning, we climb slowly ascend for two hours. It is a walk over the black rocks to the top of Kalapatthar. It is the main point for bordering view of Everest. We get to see the entire of Everest from Kalapatthar, which is a view treasured during an early morning hike. We will relish 360-degree panorama of Everest and other peaks from Kalapatthar. Spending some glimpse at Kalapatthar, we descend to Gorakshep. After breakfast, we again continue incline all the way to Pheriche. Overnight in Lodge.

DAY 10

Trek down to Pangboche-Tengboche-Namche Bazaar (3440m): 5-6 hours

After breakfast, we trek down through the hillside down to the Namche Bazaar through the trail surrounded by rhododendron and Jupiter forest. It blooms fully red in the spring season. Then we reach to Pangboche and continue our journey to Phunki Thenga after passing the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. Succeeding over the Pine forest, we slope to Kyanjuma. We gradually walk to Namche Bazaar following the same trail of our ascending after the lunch break. On our back, higher Himalaya is always smiling. Overnight in Lodge.

DAY 11

Trek down to Lukla (2800m): 6-8 hours

Today, we again have a long trek to Lukla. From Namche Bazaar, we trek down the rocky steep trail. Gradually, we cross a suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. We are descended from the high altitude to the lower parts of the Khumbu region. It is the identical track through the rhododendron and pine forest. Crossing the Sherpa settlements, we continually trek to Lukla. Overnight in Lodge.

DAY 12

Fly back to Kathmandu

After breakfast early in the morning heading to the airport for scenic flight about 35 minutes to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel for overnight.
