Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek is suitable for those who aspire to scale the high elevations of the Everest region but with more ease and convenience. This trekking journey is actually less strenuous when compared to the other treks. This journey leads you to the Tengboche Monastery which is located at the height of 3850 meters and you get the opportunity to move along the scenic route that has to offer the majestic views of the mighty Everest, Thamserku, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other snow-clad mountain peaks.

We commence this journey by boarding a flight to Lukla from the capital. From Lukla, we trek till Namche Bazaar, we head towards the popular village of Tyangboche which is widely known for its monastery and then move to the village, Khumjung; the amazing settlement of the Sherpas. This short trekking journey takes you along the diverse landscape, vegetation, wildlife and among different culturally rich villages. DAY 1

Reach Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the famed Kathmandu International Airport, our Sherpa Expedition and Trekking staff officer will take you to your acquired hotel. You'll receive an excellent briefing and introduction on the trek, covering all the essential routes, lodging, and many guidelines. Enjoy a full welcome dinner with your group in the evening before an overnight stay in the close hotel area.

DAY 2

Kathmandu to Lukla; trek to Phakding (2610 meters)

On this day, we board the flight to get to Lukla where we savor the landscapes and the scenic beauty we get to witness from the plane’s window. We reach Lukla in less than thirty minutes and then take a light breakfast and some rest. After this, we start our trekking journey. We reach Phakding village within the hours (approximately). We stay here overnight at a guesthouse.

DAY 3

Head to Namche Bazaar (3440 meters); six hours

We trek at the great Namche Bazaar, following the ever-silky and flowing Dudh Koshi River and ascending through the great forests of Himalayan deodar and pine trees. Upon a great walk, we reach Namche, a historic trading hub for Nepalese and Tibetan traders exchanging goods such as salt and meat. Overnight will be done through the guesthouse in Namche Bazaar.

DAY 4

Move to Everest View Hotel (3800 meters); three hours

On this day, we do not trek a lot because this day is separated for acclimatization. We can trek to the twin villages namely the Khude and Khumjung where we can eat lunch. We can also visit the bakery stores at Khumjung. We can hike up to the Everest View Hotel to relish the amazing mountain views. We trek for around five hours and then return to Namche where we stay for the night at a guesthouse.

DAY 5

Head to Tengboche (3860 meters); five hours

Our trekking path moves along the raging water of the river, Dudh Koshi. We scale the altitude of around 3860 meters to reach Tengboche. In the monastery, we will witness beautiful wall hangings, Buddhist sculptures along with Lamas’ musical instrument. We can go to observing the prayer ceremony in the morning or evening. Overnight stay here.

DAY 6

Tengboche to Dingboche (4460 meters); around five hours

We ascend up to reach higher elevation so watch out for any feeling of uneasiness in this altitude. First, we reach the Somare (4010 meters) and Orsho villages. We go up to Pheriche and then have an upward, steep climb till Dingboche where we stay overnight at a lodge.

DAY 7

Rest day at Dingboche

Before we scale higher altitude, we spend some time adjusting to the elevation. We have the choice to hike till Chukkung valley (4730 meters) and then to the Island Peak (Imja Tes). We can have a short hike till Nagkartshang Gompa which will take around two or three hours. Or, we can move to Pheriche to attend the lecture on altitude sickness.

From Chukkung, we reach Bibr (4570 meters). Bibr has amazing peaks that surround it. We can witness the Nuptse, Taboche, Lhotse, the amazing Amphu Laptsa pass along with Ama Dablam here. Chukkung has to offer comfortable lodges which provide nice views of the island peak. If you feel acclimatized enough, we can move to the Chukkung RI peak (5550 meters) to see the Makalu

DAY 8

Head to Lobuche (4900 meters); five to six hours

After a hearty breakfast, we walk along the path that takes us to Dugla. We move up to the steep moraine of the glacier of Khumbu and then walk across the slopes as we climb up the Chupki Lhara we will see colourful prayer flags that mark the loss of lives of mountaineers who tried to ascend the 

Everest. The trail moves along the Khumbu Glacier moraine and then we can witness the marvellous views of the Pumori, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and the Mahalangur mountain. Overnight stay at Lobuche inclusive of breakfast, lunch as well as dinner.

DAY 9

Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5180 meters); three to four hours and head to EBC

On this day, we trek to the Everest Base Camp en route Gorak Shep Lake. We come across the memorial of many Indian army mountaineers and we walk along a steep path which can feel very strenuous as the altitude rises. We walk rocky dunes, pristine streams as well as moraine. We will get to see the tents of many mountaineers as we reach the Base Camp and we will witness the panoramic view of the Nuptse, Pumori and Khumbutse peaks. We retrace our steps back to Gorak Shep after having a marvellous time here. Overnight stay at Gorak Shep.

All the three main meals; breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

DAY 10

Hike till Kalapatthar (5550 meters) and move to Pangboche (seven to eight hours)

We leave Gorak Shep first thing in the morning. As we move ahead, we will be greeted by the panorama of the Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Chagntse peaks along with the mighty Everest slowly unveiling itself. As we step on Kala Patthar viewpoint, we will see the Mount Everest at very close proximity. We have the time of our lives here and then head to Pangboche for the night.

DAY 11

Move back to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters); four hours

We follow the old trail to get back to Namche Bazaar; we descend down from Tengboche (3860 meters)  to reach the Namche Bazaar town.

DAY 12

Namche to Lukla (2804 meters0; six hours

This day marks the final day of our trekking journey to the Everest Base Camp.  We can take time to reflect on the journey as a team and the achievements made. You can use the leisure time in the afternoon to explore the nearby surroundings or just relax and enjoy a hot shower.  To mark the completion of the journey successfully, we celebrate with drinks and fun dances with the companions of the journey.

We leave Gorak Shep first thing in the morning. As we move ahead, we will be greeted by the panorama of the Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Chagntse peaks along with the mighty Everest slowly unveiling itself. As we step on Kala Patthar viewpoint, we will see the Mount Everest at very close proximity. We have the time of our lives here and then head to Pangboche for the night.

DAY 13

Return Kathmandu

We take the early morning flight back to Kathmandu, where you can also rest or explore the modern city. If you wish, our guide can help you sightseeing or shop for the best souvenirs in the area.

In the evening, enjoy the delightful farewell dinner to celebrate the full completion of your trek. An overnight stay will be at a Kathmandu hotel, with breakfast and dinner included.

DAY 14

Reach Kathmandu

You'll receive an excellent briefing and introduction on the trek, covering all the essential routes, lodging, and many guidelines. DAY 15

Bid goodbye to Nepal

On your final day in Nepal, take some time to exchange vital contacts with your close travel companions or organize the great memories you’ve captured in photographs. Reflect on your journey and savour the full experiences as you prepare to depart.
