In the afternoon, we have a comprehensive briefing on your upcoming trek, detailing the itinerary, precautionary measures, and what to expect at the trail. Through the briefing, you can also enjoy the evening exploring the local markets and eating age-old Nepali cuisine before retiring at night, ready for the journey.
Today, we set off the tour for Kathmandu's best iconic attractions, beginning with Swayambhunath, known as Monkey Temple. Situated at the topmost hills, this UNESCO World Heritage Site has the finest city views and is glorified with age-old stupas and temples, all donned by mischievous monkeys. Next, we will go to Pashupatinath, one of the best Hindu temples dedicated to the almighty Lord Shiva, where you can also see the significant rituals at the banks of the pious Bagmati River. We finish off your tour at the Boudhanath Stupa, one of the best stupas in Nepal, which is well known at its vibrant atmosphere and fine Tibetan culture and tradition.

You will trek through Namche Bazaar at the Tengboche, situated at 3,867 meters, on a journey that will take about five hours. As you go through the trail, you will be treated to the breathtaking views of the Himalayas, such as Ama Dablam, known for its fine pyramid shape.
Upon reaching Tengboche, you will also visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, one of the best spiritual sites. It will take 5 to 6 hours to travel from Chhukung to Mera Base Camp, which lies at a height of 5,400 meters. The trail will take you through fine landscapes, with great views of Mera Peak and the surrounding glaciers, which create a dramatic backdrop for your journey. As you move on, the air will also be thinner, and the great terrain will show the great beauty of the hills.
Upon reaching the Mera Base Camp, take some time, settle in, and soak in the majestic surroundings. The campsite also provides a rare atmosphere where climbers go to prepare for their ascent. Enjoy a great meal with your fellow trekkers, giving excitement and strategies for the climb ahead.
Now, you will journey from Mera Base Camp to Mera High Camp, which lies at 5,800 meters. This ascent will take 3 to 4 hours and goes through the delicate landscape combined at glacial. The surrounding summits will inspire your spirit for the next challenge.
When you reach High Camp, you will go for the camp and go for your gear at the summit attempt. This is the primary time to check your machines, ensuring everything is for the climb. You will go on your attempt at Mera Peak, going on 6,476 meters. The journey will also take around 8 to 10 hours round trip, starting at the great darkness. As you move down, the landscape changes, with great glaciers and rough terrain engulfing you. The excitement and anticipation build at each step through the summit.
Upon reaching the top, you will be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas and iconic peaks such as Everest, Makalu, and Lhotse. Take a moment to celebrate your achievement, capturing the moment's beauty and reflecting on your journey. After enjoying the scale, you return to the High Camp, where a delicious meal and fellow trekkers await you. You move down from Mera High Camp back to the Mera Base Camp, a journey of 3 to 4 hours. The descent also offers a perspective of the incredible landscape you move on, with glacial facts and beautiful rugged terrain in daylight. Upon arriving in Base Camp, take the opportunity to enjoy and recover through the extension of the ascent. It will also take around 5 to 6 hours to travel through Kothe to Thuli Kharka, which lies at 4,300 meters. At Thuli Kharka, you will also be a welcoming spot to rest upon the hard day's trek.
