DAY 1

Arrival in Kathmandu

This is the starting day of the trek or journey. You will arrive at the great city Kathmandu. When you reach the Tribhuvan International Airport, our team members will welcome you and assist at your transfer to your designated hotel. This bright city, very rich at the culture and history as well as saga stories, will be the fine introduction at your Himalayan adventure.

Once you enter in the city, you can also take some time and see great attractions, such as Durbar Square or the famous Buddhist stupa in all of Indian subcontinent, like Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple to the people of the world.

DAY 2

Kathmandu to Lukla (Flight) to Phakding

We leave at the early morning and take the great flight from Kathmandu unto Lukla, known for the fine view, where you'll be greeted by the famed landscapes on the Khumbu side, marking the start of your travelling time.

Upon arriving at Lukla, you will journey to Phakding; the journey takes around three hours. As you move down through forests and the immortal Dudh Koshi River, you will experience the region's nature allure and get familiar with the great Sherpa culture. Arriving in Phakding at 2,651 meters, you can also see the serene atmosphere at this thriving village.

DAY 3

Phakding to Namche Bazaar

You will go from Phakding unto to the Namche Bazaar which is placed at around 3,438 meters. The journey takes 5 to 7 hours and goes through very dense pine forests and Dudh Koshi River. As you move down the trail, you will be awarded with several views for the surrounding peaks, increasing the happiness.

As you move toward at the Namche Bazaar, the trail becomes more and more formidable, but the great atmosphere in this busy Sherpa town makes the effort fine and great. Once you arrive, you have time to see the local shops and coffee shops and bask in the glory of the region's rich culture and tradition.

DAY 4

Acclimatization day

Today is the acclimatization day in the Namche Bazaar, giving your body time at the adjust to the altitude around 3,438 meters. To make this process, you can also make small hikes at the surrounding area, such as trekking at the Everest View Hotel for great views of Everest and the popular Ama Dablam. 

Besides hiking, you can also see the fine village of Namche Bazaar, explore at local markets, and visit cultural sites like the much visited Sherpa Museum. Engaging with the happy Sherpa community and learning at their traditions will improve at your understanding for region’s rich, fine culture. 

DAY 5

Namche Bazaar to Dole

You will begin from Namche Bazaar to Dole, which is sits at the altitude of 3,680 meters. The journey in around six to seven hours and offers the great change through the great atmosphere of Namche to the more peaceful landscapes in the biggest elevations.

While arriving at Dole, you will see a superb setting surrounded by the eternal Himalayas. This petite place gives a great backdrop and helps you recharge after a day of hard trekking. As you are comfortable at your accommodations, take the whole time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and get ready for the forthcoming days ahead as you go on the journey toward Everest Base Camp.

DAY 6

Dole to Machhermo

You will trek through the Dole to Machhermo, which is at an altitude of 3,870 meters. This journey is completed in around four hours and has a mild ascent, allowing you to enjoy the great alpine scene. As you trek on, look out for the flora and fauna of the region and see the awesome views of the surrounding mountains.

When you reach Machhermo, you'll be acknowledged by the friendly village, which serves as a key stop for trekkers heading toward Everest Base Camp. Take some time to explore the area and relax in the peaceful atmosphere. 

DAY 7

Machhermo to Gokyo (Afternoon hike to Gokyo Ri)

You will go from Machhermo unto to Gokyo, which is placed at around 4,800 meters. This walks goes around four hours and goes through unbelievable landscapes filled with glaciers and majestic mountain sights. As you go at the Gokyo, the peaceful environment welcomes you at the soak at the beauty for the place, with the great peaks of Lhotse Cho Oyu surfacing the horizon.

In the afternoon, you will walk up to Gokyo Ri, a great viewpoint which offers breathtaking, memorable scenes around the great majestic mountains. This trekking experience and allows you and witness some of the best scenery at the Khumbu region.

DAY 8

Gokyo to Thagnak (Morning hike to Gokyo 4th Lake)

You will start the day with a morning walk to the Gokyo Fourth Lake, which offers great views and the chance to explore the cool waters that characterize this rare glacial Lake. This side trip also allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of the Gokyo region before starting your trek.

After your visit to the Lake, you will trek to Thagnak, located at an altitude of 5,367 meters. The journey will take around four hours and take you through a rugged yet incredible landscape with brilliant peaks and glaciers surrounding you.

DAY 9

Thagnak to Cho Dzongla via CholaPass

You will travel from Thagnak to Cho Dzongla through the challenging Cho La Pass, which is 5,420 meters high. The demanding journey takes eight hours, but the brilliant views through the pass, including the full peaks and glaciers, make the effort worthwhile.

After going down from the pass, you will continue your trek at Cho Dzongla, which is at 4,843 meters. This scenic village has a serene atmosphere compared to many trekking stops, giving you a great opportunity to rest and acclimatize.

DAY 10

Dzongla to Lobuche

You will go through Cho Dzongla all the way to the Lobuche, which is at 4,940 meters. This short journey takes around three hours, giving you time to enjoy the stunning scenes along the side. As you go through the track, you will be greeted by tall peaks and glacial forms, which make a great backdrop for your hike.

Upon arriving at Lobuche, you will see the small village that serves as a key waypoint for trekkers going to Everest Base Camp. Here, you can take some good time to rest and prepare for any difficulties that may be seen or unforeseen.

DAY 11

Lobuche to Gorakshep (Afternoon hike to Kalapatthar)

You will trek through Lobuche to Gorakshep, which lies at 5,368 meters. This journey has eight hours, giving you the dramatic glacial landscapes as you go down to the last place before ascending Everest Base Camp. 

Arriving in Gorakshep, you can also take a small break before going on the afternoon hike at Kala Patthar. This renowned viewpoint offers great panoramic views of Mount Everest and the other peaks. Going to Kala Patthar is challenging but rewarding, offering some of the most unforgettable sights in the region. 

DAY 12

Gorakshep to Pheriche (Morning hike to EBC)

You will start the day with the nice walk at the Everest Base Camp, go at the breathtaking scenes and the excitement of going in the foot of the world's most greatest and most talked about peak. 

The journey goes from Gorakshep to Pheriche takes around eight hours and goes you through great landscapes, descending at the large height of 4,200 meters. As you go at the trail, you will pass great valleys and vibrant villages, giving you all the moments of reflection at your ever impressive adventure. 

DAY 13

Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

You will journey through Pheriche unto to the Namche Bazaar, starting at the height of 3,440 meters. The journey takes around seven hours and gets a blend of mix trials and you pass through great alpine scenes.

Upon arriving in Namche Bazaar, you will also find the fine atmosphere at this busy Sherpa town. Here, you can also witness local shops, eat top notch quality food, and enjoy the rich culture of the place. 

DAY 14

Namche Bazaar to Lukla

You will trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla at 2,860 meters. This journey takes a maximum of eight hours as you travel through the mix of going down trails and gentle regions. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of the mountains and the Khumbu region's breathtaking views and lovely landscapes.

 You go to the Lukla, and the atmosphere will change from Namche's vibrant energy to this tiny town's welcoming charm. Once at the place of Lukla, you can also take some time to reflect on your incredible journey and feelings through the mountains.

DAY 15

Lukla to Kathmandu (Flight)

You will take the flight through Lukla back at the capital city of Kathmandu. The flight tends to be at 35 minutes, and gives fantastic aerial views for the mountainous peaks and valleys—a perfect way to say adieu to the glorious mountains.

Upon arriving at the capital city, which is at at 1,400 meters, you will be greeted with all the thriving energy from the city. After going at your hotel, you can also take some time to rest and get a great adventure, local markets or enjoying the great meal as you tell the stories of your bravery with other fellow travellers. 

DAY 16

Departure

Your great journey comes to a fine end as you prepare at the depart from Kathmandu. As you go at the incredible experiences and breathtaking landscapes you've gain during your trekking journey, you can also take several pride at the memories created and the friendships made along the way.
