As soon as you reach the Kathmandu airport, you will be received by our representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking who will accompany you to the hotel and help you transfer to the hotel of your stay. &nbsp; You will be provided with the briefing on your trek which starts the next day. &nbsp;A tasty welcome dinner awaits you in the evening.

Reach Kathmandu

It takes around nine hours to reach Beni from Kathmandu by bus; you will be traveling in a private car which will take around seven hours.

Kathmandu to Beni via drive (700 meters); seven to eight hours

It takes around six hours to reach Takam from Beni. We follow the road for the twenty-four kilometers and then start walking; Takam is just three hours away. We can enjoy the view of the Guraj Himal on our way. Overnight stay at homestay or a tent.

Beni to Takam (1665 meters); six to seven hours

It takes around six to seven hours to reach Lamsung from Takam. We can witness the beautiful landscape which changes as we move forward. This area does not have a lot of tourist inflow and locals are not familiar with it. They have so many stories to tell about the times of Maoist insurgency.

Takam to Lamsung (2250 meters); six to seven hours

From Lamsung, we climb through dense forests of pine. We walk through the meadows enjoying the panoramic view of Dhaulagiri that ranges till the Churen Himal westwards. It will take us six hours to get to Gajurghat.

Lamsung to Gurjhagat (3020 meters); five to six hours

On this day, we move from Myagdi to Baglung and then to the camp of Tibetan refugees, serviced by the Swiss-built airfield around the 1950s. &nbsp;This is where we enter the Dhorpatan Hunting reserve where we can find mountain goats as well as Bharal (blue sheep). It will take around five hours to reach Dhorpatan.

Gurjaghat to Dhorpatan (2860 meters); five to six hours

We reach Nisi Dhor from Dhorpatan in around five hours. This is a great place for bird watching. We can watch beautiful pheasants. &nbsp;It will be difficult for us to fathom that some time back, there used to be war here. During monsoon, there are cow sheds here however the pasturelands are deserted in the winter.

Dhorpatan to Nisi Dhor (2620 meters); five to six hours

We will reach Tallo Sera in seven hours. We cross Bgalung to reach Rukum where we enter the Magar community where the former Maoist Base area used to be there. &nbsp;We will find lush green dense forest here. The villages are extremely beautiful and if we get lucky, we could witness a Magar festival.

Nisi Dhor to Tallo Sera; five to six hours

We walk from Tallo Sera to Lukum in the district, Rukum. Lukum is occupied by Magars and the underprivileged groups. It is going to take us around six hours to get there.

Tallo Sera to Rujhikhola; six to seven hours

We reach Thabang in five hours. This is a place where the Maoist revolution took place in full swing some years back. &nbsp;This place suffered a lot during Maoist insurgency, some development took place after the end of the war in terms of infrastructure. People are very warm and friendly here.

Rujhikhola to Thabang; six to seven hours

We will get to Jaljala in five hours. Dharampani (3900 meters) is the highest point at Jaljala; we get to see the Apishaipal on the west alongside Mt. Dhaulagiri here. We reach Jelbang in six hours and then we descend down.

Thabang to Jaljala; six to seven hours

We reach Rolpa on this day; Rolpa s popular as the base area of rebels which used to be controlled by Maoist some ten years back. &nbsp;We can eat at the restaurants that are operated by Maoist cooperative where mostly relatives of people who lost their lives in fighting during the insurgency work.

Jaljala to Sulichaur; six to seven hours

We head to Kathmandu via bus. It will take around thirteen hours.

Sulichaur to Kathmandu; twelve to thirteen hours

On this day, your trekking adventure in Nepal is completed. You can go through the emails with your travel buddies and organize the great trek photographs.&nbsp; Our great representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will see you off at the Tribhuvan airport; you will be taken to the next airport three hours before the great scheduled flight.&nbsp; You will have a great time on your way back to plan your next trip to the beautiful nation of Nepal.
