DAY 1

Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

The drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi takes around seven to nine hours. It offers scenic views of well-terraced fields, rivers, and great hills. The road goes through the lovely Trishuli River valley and great small villages, providing sights of rural Nepal. DAY 2

Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

The trek through the place of Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel begins with the ascent through lush forests of oak and rhododendron trees. The trail always follows the OK Langtang River, offering scenic views through the surrounding hills and valleys. After the close 5-6 hour hike, trekkers reach the Lama Hotel, a peaceful spot to rest for the whole night.

DAY 3

Lama Hotel to Langtang Village

The trek goes through the Lama Hotel until the great Langtang Village follows the trail through dense forests and gives fine views through the surrounding mountains. As the trek also progresses, the forest gives way to full valleys, revealing panoramic vistas from the Langtang Lirung and other peaks. After close to a 5-6 hour hike, trekkers arrive in Langtang Village, a significant settlement in the heart of the entire valley.

DAY 4

Langtang Village to Kyanjin Gompa

Continuing deeper into the great Langtang Valley, the trail moves through alpine meadows and past fine yak pastures, offering fine views of surrounding peaks. Reaching Kyanjin Gompa at around 3,800 meters, trekkers are also rewarded with the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scene of the great Langtang range. The monastery is a spiritual centre and a fine point for exploring the valley's majestic beauty.

DAY 5

Explore around Kyanjin Gompa

The acclimatization day through the place of Kyanjin Gompa allows trekkers to adjust to the altitude and explore the entire surroundings. Options for the day are hiking to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 meters) for the incredible panoramic views through the Langtang peaks or visiting the impressive Kyanjin Gompa monastery. This day provides both spiritual enrichment and great mountain scenes.

DAY 6

Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

The return journey through the fine descent from Kyanjin Gompa, retraces the path all through alpine meadows and great forests. The trail follows through the Langtang River, offering refreshing views through the valley. Upon the 5-6 hour hike, trekkers also reach Lama Hotel, a comfortable stop to rest and recover too.

DAY 7

Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi, then back to Kathmandu

The trek back through the Syabrubesi takes around 5-6 hours, retracing the entire route through forests and villages. Upon reaching the place of Syabrubesi, trekkers rest well before taking the whole drive back to Kathmandu the next day. The scenic drive offers views through the mountains and rural landscapes, marking the last of the Langtang Valley Trek.
