DAY 1

Kathmandu to Lukla, Trek unto to the state of Phakding

Take the small hike till the 35-minute flight to Lukla, the gateway all through the Everest region. From Lukla, begin the trek towards the acceptable place of Phakding, an incredible 3-4 hour hike through lovely villages and lush forests. The journey provides an easy introduction to the Himalayan terrain.

DAY 2

Phakding unto the great state of Namche Bazaar

Machhermo to Gokyo

The trek through Machhermo to Gokyo takes around 4-5 hours, winding through the rocky terrain with views of tall and incredible glaciers and the Gokyo Lakes at a great distance. DAY 7

Gokyo Ri and Gokyo Lakes Exploration

Climbing the Gokyo Ri takes around 3-4 hours round trip. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the fabulous mountain trio of Everest, Makalu, and the fine Gokyo Lakes below. The summit provides one of the best points in the region. Afterwards, trekkers can also explore the peaceful Gokyo Lakes, enjoying the calm beauty of the area.

DAY 8

Gokyo to Dole

The trek back to the Dole takes around 6-7 hours. It follows the great route but in reverse. As the trekkers move down, the landscape also shifts, offering many perspectives of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

DAY 9

Dole to Namche Bazaar

The trek through the Dole to the state of Namche Bazaar takes around 6-7 hours. It gradually descends through scenic forests and quaint villages. The trail has a mixture of downhill and flat terrain, with impressive views of the surrounding and nearby mountains. Namche Bazaar provides a welcoming stop for rest after the trek has been concluded.

DAY 10

Namche Bazaar to Lukla

The trek throughout the great Namche Bazaar through the Lukla takes 6-7 hours, moving through lush forests and crossing many human-made suspension bridges. The route has beautiful views of the surrounding valleys and peaks. Upon reaching the place of Lukla, trekkers can also reflect on their Himalayan adventure before returning to Kathmandu.

DAY 11

Lukla to Kathmandu

After finishing the trek, take a flight through the great state of Lukla back to Kathmandu, enjoying a scenic, fine aerial view of the Himalayas. The 35-minute flight provides a great glimpse of the majestic mountains. Upon arrival in the wonderful city of Kathmandu, the Gokyo Lakes Trek adjourns.
