Syangja is a Nepalese district which lies in the Gandaki province of Nepal. It is known for its lovely landscape thriving cultural heritage and prominent significance. It is located in the mid hills of the Himalayan region. This district is famed for its well-terraced hillsides, rich valley, and age old villages. The district is also called home to many ethnic groups such as Brahmin, Chettri, Magar, and Gurung which have distinct identities and cultures. Festivals like Dashain, Tihar, as well as Maghe Sankranti, are celebrated with great show and pomp, displaying the thriving culture of the region.
