Bharatpur is a city in Nepal's central-southern region. In the Chitwan District, Bharatpur is the district headquarters and a distinct Metropolitan authority and is Nepal's fifth biggest city, with 199,867 people (census 2011).

Bishazari Tal
Bishazari Tal (20 Thousand Lakes) is located in Bharatpur's southern corner. The lake is a popular destination for bird watchers and acts as an important birding centre. The lake region is home to many crocodiles, making it equally appealing to reptile enthusiasts. Chitwan National Park is close to the lake.
Bishazari Tal is located 5 kilometres south of Bharatpur's city centre (Chaubiskothi). Pandeyghumti is the closest chok (square) from whence you can easily reach the lake. It's about a kilometre away from the chok.
Chitwan National Park
One-horned rhinoceros, elephants, royal Bengal tigers, crocodiles, deers, and other wild creatures may be seen in the nearby Chitwan National Park.

Devghat

Ganesthan Temple

Kalika Temple

Mahakaleshwar Shiva Mandir
This is the only temple in the region dedicated to Lord Shiva. Many antiquities were used in the construction of this temple. There are 108 Shiva lingas, a havan kund, a hanuman statue, a Satsang hall, a Ganesh temple, and an under-construction Gauri kund in the temple's periphery.
Durga Temple
In 1992, the police force constructed Durga Temple within the grounds of the Bharatpur Police Academy.
Jakhadi Mai Temple
The villagers built this temple approximately 25 years ago in the eastern part of the Jungle in Ward No. 11.
Pashupatinath Temple

Upardanghari Fort
This fort in Bharatpur is said to have been erected by Satrubhanjan Shah, son of Prince Bahadur Shah, to protect the newly established Kingdom in the 17th century. Diyalo Bangala Palace

It is an ancient Rana-built palace located within the Chitwan National Park. It now serves as a National Park Service office as well as a museum.
