Langtang Valley Trek is an enjoyable trip in Nepal that starts with tours of Kathmandu’s exciting view. Next to the route map, we start to trek from the lower region of the Langtang Valley through small villages, woodlands and green forests to Kyangjin Gompa.
We also ascent Tserko Ri for outstanding sunrise sights through the Langtang ranges. The region limits Tibet and was when a significant trading path. You can check out the effect in the amusing local culture. Additionally, the itinerary also proceeds towards the ‘Langtang Village’ which was deeply pretentious by the overwhelming earthquake that hit Nepal in April 2015. Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)
Our representative will pick you from Tribhuvan International Airport, and take you to your desired hotel. Then, freshen up and take a rest. In the evening, we will have a welcome dinner making you familiar with Nepalese cuisine.
Day 2: Exploring Kathmandu
Today, we explore to the most historic and divine attractions in Kathmandu including the holy Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Buddhist monument Bouddhanath. At afternoon, will be a pre-trip meeting where we encounter our trekking leader and other team associates.
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft)
We move towards Syabrubesi, a community which is also the initial point for journey to the Langtang valley. Our trip will be on a curving road over regular bends. On a clear day, we relish remarkable sights of Manaslu, Annapurna and Ganesh Himal.
Day 4: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft)
We start our journey to Syabrubesi with the Langtang Khola. We move up and down instantaneously via oak and rhododendron woodlands. After passing a bridge on the Langtang Khola (tiny stream), we climb on a sheer trail which will take us to the Lama Hotel.
Day 5: Trek to Mundu (3543m/11,621ft) via Langtang village
We start climbing from Lama Hotel and relish the mountain scenery with plentiful waterfalls. As we reach the green fields of Ghoda Tabela, we start to view the white mountains of the Langtang assortment. Our path endures to ascent up the spreading gorge, crossing some temporary settlements used by herders. We pass a Buddhist monastery before reaching the Langtang community which was exaggerated by the April 2015 massive earthquake. We endure our path to Mundu.
Day 6: Mundu to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft)
After breakfast, we begin our trek to Kyangjin Gompa, a major monastery of the area. We cross through water grinders, prayer wheels, chortens, with holy embankments of rocks with legends engraved on them. We also cross over the highest mani wall in Nepal, made from pebble with devotions printed on them. After the small walk, we devote the rest of the time travelling the Buddhist monument in Kyangjin Gompa and nearby parts with the astonishing sights of the mountains.
Day 7: Acclimatization- Explore Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft)
We devote the complete day traveling Tserko Ri which will also aid us familiarize to the top height. We start early in the morning. The path crosses via yak grasslands earlier climbing to Tserko Ri. The daylight sight from the upper of Tserko Ri is astonishing. We return to Kyangjin Gompa by late after lunch and discover the good-looking monastery while relishing sights.
Day 8: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
We start our journey after breakfast and go back over our stages to Lama Hotel. Maximum trekking now will be easy as we cross through via jungles and attractive Tamang villages. We also get to appreciate numerous sight of the Himalayas that we had missed ascending.
Day 9: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi
We essentially go back over our phases towards Syabrubesi. The trek will be relaxed as it will typically include descending.
Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we return to Kathmandu. We devote the rest of the day packing and perhaps shopping around. In the evening, we will enjoy farewell dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Final departure
We will take you to the airport and you will be going back to your place.
