Day 1: Arrival at Bardia National Park (300m/1000ft)
We will pick you up from the Nepalgunj Airport. Bardia National Park is just 90kmand 2-hour drive away from Nepalgunj. After reaching the resort, you will enjoy tour of a beautiful Tharu community. The Tharus are supposed to be the innovative residents of the local forest part. We will also explore the Bardia National Park sightseer center and outing its crocodile farmhouse.
Day 2: Bardia National Park: jungle safari, cultural exposure
After early morning breakfast, we get on profound into the woodlands on base. We will be escorted by a guide and porter. The moist forests of Bardia is resident to different wild animals. Similarly, you can find towers (Machan) at various spots inside the forest where you can wait for unwary wild-lives to cross us by. Our skilled nature guide will assist us track the flora and fauna. After the jungle trip, we go back to the resort and enjoy dinner and traditional Tharu dance.
Day 3: Bardia National Park: float safari, bird-watching, cultural dance program
After early morning breakfast, we move towards Chisapani, a community situated over the Karnali Stream. We get on our flora and fauna sighting trip through a Safari float which is a pleasing way to get the streams and nature of western Nepal. We will be escorted by a skilled guide, suitable for steering the stream which does not have any waterfalls. During the trip, we adore the stunning sub-tropical scenery together with the abundant flora and fauna.
Viewing the sights of wild animals sating their thirstiness in the huge Karnali River is likely to become wonderful experience. Additionally, this trip is also worthy for bird-watching as there are some of inhabitant and migratory birds in the Bardia National Park. We complete the day enjoying another Tharu cultural dance.
Day 4: Elephant-back Safari, final departure
After early breakfast, we get ready for outing on an exciting elephant-back safari. Together with entertaining activity, another advantage of elephant-back safari is that there is a good choice of viewing wild animals, as the wild animals are bit afraid when they find you on the top of their enormous friend. Besides, to ride the elephant also protects you from any possible attacks from the wild animals. The elephants generally proceed northwest and we are likely to view deer, langoor monkeys, rhinos and pigs. After the trip, we will take you towards the Nepalgunj airport.
