Tukuche peak is situated in the western Nepal Himalayas amongst the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Ranges. Even though comparatively less traveled, Tukuche is one of most striking mountain ascent in Nepal. Regardless of being a practical climb, it's nevertheless a preferred training mountain even amongst climbers. The peak is situated in the north of the striking Hidden Valley.

Our Tukuche Peak Excursion starts from Kathmandu to Pokhara then Pokhara to Jomsom. From Jomsom, we proceed west towards the Marpha village, Yak Kharka, Hidden Valley, and Tukuche Base Camp. Then, appropriate adaptation and training, we conference the Tukuche Peak and get back through the similar way.


Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

After you in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, we will welcome you and drop you to your desired hotel. Then, you can rest for some time and meet your trekking leader and other members. Afterward, in the evening we will host a welcome dinner where you can enjoy Nepalese cultural program along with a delicious food.



Day 2: Kathmandu Exploration & Preparation for the Trek

After early morning breakfast, we begin a guided tour to different antique and divine attractions in Kathmandu. The day will also be for completing official process and other essential preparations. You will be also directed on the nature of the journey, equipment and team arrangement.

Some of benchmarks we explore counts on the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Swayambhu Nat and Bouddha Nath. Afterward, there will be a pre-trip conversation where we can encounter our trek guide and other team associates. You can also make your final purchasing of personal stuffs as you will be taking flights to the Himalayas tomorrow.


Day 3: Fly to Pokhara and Pokhara Exploration

Today we are flying towards Pokhara. Pokhara consists of wonderful sights of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna assortment and much more. The place is also renowned for its several lakes which also provide boat-ride. We make an exploration trip to some of Pokhara's markets, old bazaars, and benchmarks. In the evening, travel the nearby lakeside parts.


Day 4: Fly Jomsom / Trek to Marpha

In the morning, we fly to Jomsom and after exploring we proceed to Marpha. Firstly, we go easy over the gorge with mountain peaks on both edges. Pass the Syang Khola. Move into the Syang Community. Endure trekking to Marpha.


Day 5: Trek around, acclimatize and rest at Marpha

Marpha is also renowned as the apple capital of Nepal where you can adore various items made from apple. The native apple brandy of Marpha is well-known throughout Nepal. The sterile scenery of this area looks like Tibet.


Day 6: Trek to Yak Kharka

Today we move towards Yak Kharka from Marpha. We will be departing the evolution behindhand at Marpha. Pass the thin tree-line and adjoining farms. Climb together the edge of the mountain towards Yak Kharka.


Day 7: Acclimatization at Yak Kharka

As, we have achieved significant height previously; we take one extra day at Yak Kharka for appropriate adaptation. Travel and walk over Yak Kharka.


Day 8: Trek to Hidden Valley

A long day. Endure walking Hidden Gorge. The early route engraved by the Yaks provides growth to more wilds. Pass the Thapa Pass. You will find that by today we are now into the snowline. Endure more to reach Hidden Gorge finally.


Day 9: Trek to and around Tukuche Peak BC

Lastly, we reach at Tukuche Peak Base Camp now.  After reaching there, trek, set-up and rest. It's also vital to adapt to the high height.


Day 10: Climbing Preparation & Hiking back to Base Camp

Now, we start our ascending preparation. We walk to the Camp I. Return to Base camp again.


Day 11: Base Camp to Camp I back to Base Camp

Now, we climb to Camp I. After arriving Camp, I with essential preparation, we return to base camp again. This phase is needed for suitable adaptation.



Day 12: Base Camp to Camp I

We once more walk to Camp I. But now, we spend night at Camp I.


Day 13: Camp I to Camp 2, back to Base Camp

Additional significant stage for appropriate adaptation and training. From Camp I, we walk to Camp 2. After arriving Camp 2, return to base camp again.


Day 14 to 20: Route Fixing/ Summit Climb/Back to Base Camp

Throughout these days, we make all essential preparations for the summit ascent for instance route setting amid others.  Firstly, we walk amongst base camp, Camp I and Camp 2. Then we move to summit, and another time return to our camp. Like this, gradually and little by little, after setting up all essential preparation, training, and adaptation and later taking into deliberation of the weather situations, we summit the Tukhuche Peak lastly. After summiting the peak, reurn to base camp once more.


Day 21: Trek to Hidden Valley

We clear-out the mess we have made at the Base Camp. Travel around if desired. Return to Hidden Gorge today. Travel around and rest.


Day 22: Trek to Marpha

Beginning with the landmarks, we continue through the snowy route. After some hours of walking in the snow, we reach at the topmost of the Thapa Pass. The lineage from there is slightly smooth. To late afternoon, we reach at Yak Kharka. From Yak Kharka, it's also more sheer descent leading to end to Marpha.



Day 23: Trek to Jomsom

From Marpha, we go back over our route back towards Jomsom.  From Marpha, hike to Jomsom.  We reach at Jomsom by late afternoon. Due to prospect of high wind in the afternoon, fly from Jomsom to Pokhara are hovered in the morning. So, we spend night at Jomsom for the early morning flight.


Day 24: Fly Jomsom-Pokhara-Kathmandu

After morning breakfast, we return to Pokhara, From Pokhara, we will be flying towards Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, evening we will celebrate farewell dinner together.


Day 25: Fly Home

Today is your last day at Nepal, about 3 hours earlier your arranged flight we will drop you to the airport.
